Hi Antony. I'm sorry about the SBHH. What I did is reduced the P/P to a absolute minimum. That should help some of you guys. How chrisreb already mentioned, it perhaps has to do with a too large Kuju folder.

Don't have anything else too come up with... :-?

Ciao, Pasquale

PS: Scenario 2 is online.

Possibly even more than just the Kuju folder as I needed a complete seprate Asset Folder. Runs rock solid now with about 6 other routes from Southern Europe plus the Hamburg route (which is not happy in my Northern European Asset set)/

Forgot about that, will swap to my reduced in size Kuju folder and see if that works.

Antony

Edit : Just swapped to my original unmodified Kuju folder started up no problem but had a few broken consist errors, went into edit than saved which fixed that. Route now starts, tracks showing etc etc. One thing though, is the engine facing the wrong way in the first scenario ?

Chris, just out of interest, (I may have to do that in future) What assets only did you copy over to your second assets folder?

Antony, in the first scenario, you have to switch the cabine (I think I mention it in the first message popping up) and you're sitting in the right cabine...

You mean the diesel loco, right? The D343 is the player engine, you should already sitting in there when the scenario starts. It's pretty easy, there's no special thing to do. The handling is default...

When the scenario opens this is what I see, no train anywhere in sight

The engine should be right there. What happens if you press 1? Then you should sit in the cabine. Have you downloaded all rolling stock? Especially the D 343? You can get it here:

How is that possible? I got a slightly different list from the same scenario. Did you uninstall the route with Utilites.exe and then delete the whole folder in the railworks directory before installing the new version? Did you extract the .rwp file before install it?

Don't know what to say. I have checked the file which is on the server and it works.

I did unistall with Utilites.exe then delete the folder then reinstall both ways. apparently when I first installed the Route and scenarios I had a few broken consist errors and fixed it by clicking on edit and then save. The items that was listed as broken are installed in my larger Kuju folder, once I copied over the offending missing rollingstock into the smaller Kuju folder which now fixes that.

I now have only one other error. The D343 engine now shows up where it should, but I get this ?

Anthony - for the Kuju folder it is the default plus anything the route installs and then any re skins required for just the few routes in this setup. Other folders have loads of continental rolling stock.

Odd the issues you get - I would delete the scenario and re install it - clearing cache afterwards.

Thanks Chris for your input, got it all sorted now except for the missing marker error I am getting when I try to run the 2nd scenario. see previous post. I am a little perplexed as to why this should occur. Have now un installed this route entirely and checked and rechecked that I have no reminents left in my TS2013 setup. Will re download a new set of files and try again. Will that solve it ?

Lets hope so!

At least you have the route running. Hopefully most or all of the scenarios will eventually work for you.

Believe me the route is well worth it. Loads of scope for scenarios. Fast and slow lines, many railyards and a truly Italian flavour to it.

Hi Antony,

If you have replaced some "missing" Rolling Stock items with RWTools and you 'unticked' the "Keep same numbers" box when swopping these items, it will give you "Missing marker" errors as any 'Couple' and 'Uncouple' instructions will now be wrong for the Scenario. With RWTools revert back to the 'Default Scenario' (using the 'Edit Scenario' tab) then change your 'missing' Rolling Stock items, but with the "Keep same numbers" box ticked this time and this should sort things out.

Hope this helps.
