All you can do is to try to download again as obviously n0bytes is a failed download.

There are 8 asset files - which one is 0 bytes?

Hi

So are the various files not a above? That is they are not the size shown?

I just tried part 2 and it downloaded in 2 mins and was the right size. I just downloaded them all and unpacking part one then just unpacks the following paert automatically. Not clear what files and sizes you actually have ok.

Re reading your post it looks as though you are saying that part 2 gives that message after you have set the auto process going. Is that correct.

I just re tried on mine and in about 30 secs it unpacked them all into a single folder with one overall rwp and a folder with masses of individual rwps. I think the main one sets it all in motion. If you have only a few missing assets then you could always just run ( or manually unpack and copy accross) those you need only. Assuming of course that you get that far. I wish I could upload the ones you are having issues with but they are not mine to do so.

So still not entirely clear as to what you have downloaded sucessfully as the downloads appear fine for me.

Hi Chris,
I have down loaded the following;--
Brescia-Iseo_1.0.part1 71.68
.part2 71.68
.part3 71.68
.part4 71.68
.part5 71.68
.part6 71.68
.part7 71.68
.part8 52.741

I am confused here because I understood the procedure was to create a new file on the desk top which I did and named it "Brescia-Iseo_1_0" and unpack .part1 into this new file, then did the same to all the other .parts over writing each.
My file "Brescia-Iseo_1_0" after unpacking now showed;---

Assets
Brescia-Iseo_1_0
BRESCIA ( pdf )
Brescia_Iseo_1.0.rwp
Brescia-Iseo_1_0 ( picture )
Rotabili Rolling Material

I ran "Brescia-Iseo_1_0.rwp" and then opened the Assets folder and installed each .rwp file separately.

What auto process are you referring to please?

Kind regards
Mike.

Ok you are on the right track.

I ran the main rwp which is the route itself. I then manually unpacked any of the individual ones I needed (identified via RW Tools) and copied them to the Assets folder. Plus running the 3d Landscapes exe. I don't use the Packager in TS2013 as it is far too slow.

You seem to have all the correct files and have unpacked them, Are you saying that doing this still leaves you with missing items? What does RW Tools say is missing?

The automated bit was that the first zip file unpacks all the others for you.

Hi Chris,

You asked;--
Are you saying that doing this still leaves you with missing items? What does RW Tools say is missing?

Yes. After all the over writing of .parts.
In fact when the "Assets" file is then opened and the file "Assets_Bs-Iseo_LucaCanna.rwp." is selected the Broken error appears.
As for RW_Tools the files it lists as missing are not the same description as those contained in the "Assets" file.

You said;--

I could not find any mention of this in the files.

Kind regards
Mike.

Hi Mike

Have you tried manually extracting the rwp with something like 7 zip and manually copying it over? The Brescia -Iseo_v1.1,rwp should be 33099kb. When I manually u143417kb)npackit I get the Contents folder with the route itself. Using 7 zip again on the rwp you say is broken (143417kb) it unpacked fine for manually copying over.

Could you try that?

The auto chanined unpacking is I agree very unclear - I discoved this when trying to unpack part 2 manually and it gave an error message linking it to part 1. Also at the time the Italian forums were complaing about how confusing it all was.

Let me know how the above goes and we can take it from there.

It really is worth it I assure you! The 2 routes are really superb.

Hi Chris,

I went back to the original .parts2 file and tried to open the problem file from there, without over writing it and it worked. So Assets_Bs-Iseo_LucaCanna has now installed.

Currently I now have "Brescia-Iseo" installed along with other .rwp files and I must say I am impressed by the quality of this route.
I have yet to install the "Ferrovia sul confine Italia-francia" route. I hope that when I do I will be equally impressed.

Thank you again for your continued support and help.
Kind regards
Mike.

Great news - shout if you have issues with the next one - just as good and longer and more varied.

Is it just me or what ? I have just installed the latest scenario " (19 JC) -- Manovre Como-Squinzano V1.0 " which uses the D245 shunter. For the life of me I cannot get this thing to move, as there is no interior within the unfinished cab there is nothing to press or switch, using the keyboard A D W S , or the mouse on the HUD works,ie: the engine revs up or decreases ,the brakes release .wipers ,lights etc work but it just won't budge, what am I doing wrong ? Reading the install instructions mention that the"RWItalia_Accessori_Pack_v3.2" needs to be present for it to work. I have this installed. Does it move for anyone else who has this scenario installed ?

Again, I think your issue is the loco brake needs releasing as well and then it takes off like a rocket!

Thanks Chris, I did not think about the Loco brakes and your right it does take off like a rocket . I do not recall ever coming across any other scenario which uses this particular loco as the player unit, hence not thinking about releasing the Loco brakes as well as the Train brakes .

Some of the older scenarios for previous version (some of which still work) used it. A very useful shunter and still very much around in Italy.
