Hi,

I have been reading through this thread and as a result tried to install this route with limited success.
I don't have a great deal of Rail Works installed, about 13gig, my Asset folder is only about 8gig.
I therefore installed into my current folder, the default one, loaded the route and found the Track is missing.
Can anyone help please?

Kind regards
Mike.

Have you run it through RW Tools as that will probably highlight the missing assets you need? We can then help point out where to get them. Assume you have checked the readme etc?

It is a great route with lots of atmosphere and loads of scenarios.

Hi Chris,

I did check it using RW_Tools which showed a lot of scenery items missing, but the route loaded with just the Track missing.
I could not find the Track listed only Asset creators for scenery items.
Is there a file just for the Tracks or do I have to install another route?

Kind regards
Mike.

Hi Mike,

Just read your post regarding the track problems you are having with this route . I too had problems with the tracks not showing when I installed the earlier version of this route a few years back. Have searched through my numerous backups of assets etc and found some links to what you may require. Unfortunately they no longer work. If you have a rummage over here http://www.amicitreni.net/ as this is where I obtained what was needed.

Hi RiscaStation

Did you install Brescia-Iseo?

The tracks are from this route...

Cheers, Pasquale.

Hi Pasquale,

After repeated attempts to install the "Brescia-Iseo" route I kept getting broken files error so I gave up on it.
I did what was suggested here, creating a file, in my case on the desk top calling it "Brescia-Iseo" and placing file one in there and then file two over righting file one and so on until all 8 files where in there.
I then installed the .rwp using the package manager and again using the package manager for each asset.rwp file.
Got errors unable to install some of the asset.rwp files.
I also tried loading the route which it did showed but with out tracks.
I tried this a number of times but was getting the same result so I gave up on trying to place this route in game.

Kind regards
Mike.

I think everyone had trouble installing Brescia-Iseo at first. If I remember right you just make a new folder on desktop and drag,copy/paste ,or whatever .all 8 asset folders to the desktop folder. Then you just open the first assets folder and the .rwp files should be available. No overwriting needed.

I dont know about just copy/paste. RISCASTATION, if you can, EXTRACT (not just copy/paste) ALL files into a new folder (desktop), then open the first one and everything else should be installed automatically.

It's worth having the Bresica-Iseo Route anyways, it's a very beautiful, real north italian route...

Cheers, Pasquale.

Not sure why, When you select that link you should be taken to the amicitreni website, from there select Railworks from the list on the left side of the page you are then presented with a list of downloads to go through Locomotives, Objects, Scenarios etc..

Hi Pasquale,

I tried again this morning to install this route but I am getting Broken files.

I created a file on my Desktop and named it "Brescia-Iseo_1_0".
I then selected .part01 high lighted "Brescia_Iseo_1.0" and extracted this file into my Desktop file.
I did this to all the .parts finishing with .part08 selecting replace each time.
Unfortunately I had Broken files being displayed and here they are:---

All these are BROKEN;----
Assets Bs-Iseo_Luca Canna.rwp
Assets Pedro.rwp
Assets Flowerpack1.rpk
Assets Mestake dony_1.rwp
Assets RRS_Characters_lesya.rwp
Assets Traffico.rwp

I read the read-me again but the installation procedure is very vague, I need more details on installation and fixing BROKEN files please.
Thank you for your kind assistance but it does not work.
Kind regards
Mike.

Hi

Have you downloaded all 8 files from Amicitreni?

If so, then follow the two steps mentioned down below (two pictures).

After that, open Utilities.exe and install first Brescia-Iseo_1.0, then open the Assets folder and install all .rwp files in it.

That should be all and should work...

Good luck, cheers, Pasquale.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply.
The screen captures of the "steps mentioned down below" were adopted Yesterday morning after further reading of the post on "uktrainsim".
I have managed to install this route but I have not installed all the .rwp files contained in the Asset folder.
This is because there are 6 Assets that are Broken, here is an example of one of those files;-------

Assets_BS_Ieso_LucaCanna.rwp properties check shows this file to be 0bytes, it also cause RailWorks to throw up an exceptional handling error.

I cant get RailWorks to install these 6 files.

Kind regards
Mike.
