All that stock is in the scenario pack, it should have installed along with the scenarios
Perhaps you should verify if all providers are checked for the stock the scenarios use. Best/easiest is to use RW Tools latest feature for this.

That pathing would explain it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the scenario pack and all these assets show in the utility program as being there but the scenarios still won't run.

[Edit] Jos, I've checked in the Editor and the assets do not show in the menus.

Yeah, it would appear that the scenarios are looking for those assets in a slightly different place than they are included in the scenario package

For example, the derelict loco:

In scenario package at: Wilburton/Stockton/freight/

Scenarios in game are looking for it at: Wilburton/Stockton/railvehicles/freight

Likewise the DT stuff, slightly different filepath name...

I appear to have already had them all installed at the places the scenarios are looking for them, so i didn't get any errors
Why couldn't the steam loco sit down? - Because he had a tender behind.

I just used RW Tools to swap the file locations - all is now well! :)

Duty 3 - Passed with a tick... with 10 SPAD's :o
Turns out, i didn't pass this... got a big red X.... absolutely no idea why :-? I didn't fail to do anything

KInda wondering now... thinking back to the demo scenario.... do you fail a mission if you go above a certain number of SPAD's - because i don't understand why i can pass some missions with SPAD's then others i can't

I'm afraid I can't get this pack going. I looked at the RWP file and the two wagons - 5-plank grey and cable - do not exist. I copied the other assets to the paths the scenario expects and swapped out the missing assets in RW_Tools and the first duty ran. However, when I've backed up to my train and attempt to couple to it I get SBHH.

The path for the missing cable wagon that comes up in RW_Tools is very odd:

Kuju\RailSimulator\railvehicles\freight\7plankwagon\cable1\wagon\5plank.bin

I'm glad I'm nt the only one with problems with these scenarios. The above mentioned items either don't exist ,are named wrong or the path is confused.
Even swapping items with RW-Tools results in SBHH.

I've realized some of the mistakes and a new version has just been uploaded. I apologize to those who have had problems.

You shouldn't need to. It'll happily install over the top.

Further to my problems yesterday with Duty 3

Yesterday, it would SBHH about a minute into the scenario... then mysteriously it decided to work on about the 4th or 5th attempt... But i failed the mission despite doing nothing wrong

Today i decided to try and re-attempt it, and try and figure why i failed it - Unfortunately it will no longer even load... it crashes the game SBHH before it has finished loading

---------------

So onto Duty 4

Loads into the world, but errors out - says "cannot load LMS 8F Tender"

Which makes absolutely no sense, as i do have the 8F pack, and if my suspicions are right that the LMS 8F Tender is the tender for the Red 8F, then not only have i seen it in other missions, but also drove it yesterday (when Duty 3 worked) :o

----------------

Duty 5 - passed with tick... with 4 SPAD's

-----------

Absolutely convinced at this point, that the signals on this route just do not work :( It's the only thing that explains why i have to 'Tab Key' past 50% of the signals - Never had to do this on GCRv1...

Duty 6 - seems to be absolutely impossible to complete

Again i'm putting this down to broken signals...

Night Mission in the Ivatt - Upon leaving the station area to Beeches Up, i then have to SPAD to get back under the bridge into the yard and couple on to the coaches in Platform2... told to leave at 20:55... signal never clears, and can't get permission with the 'Tab Key'... eventually get fed up and leave anyway... but the radar shows i'm heading for Beeches Down every time - we go via Gate01... then either de-rail on exit of Gate01.. or make it past, then de-rail crossing back over to the Down line.

-----------------------------------

So at this point... out of the 6 scenarios... 3 are broken (1 with SBHH, 1 with a error for a missing tender that isn't true, 1 due to signals)... the other 3 are technically broken but possible to complete by 'Tabbing' past all the broken signals

Sorry Matt... Nobody wants this route to work more than i do, i absolute played the Hell out of GCRv1 :(

I installed the updated scenarios today but still the same pathing problems.
RW-Tools shows missing assets and trying to swap them still SBHH.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the release of GCR Version 2 and the Scenario pack.

I also had to swop out the missing Kuju 7 Plank Cable wagon and I also had to swap the DT Brake vans with RWTools, but all scenarios run OK bar one (see below).

I do have a problem with Duty 4, it states you are driving LMS 8F 8624 on a Passenger turn,
In duty 4 we're back on the footlate of 8F 8624 for a passenger turn.
but on checking with the Editor and with RWTools there is no sign of 8624 in the Scenario or a 'Player' consist. I am standing at Leicester North behind the fence watching the Jinty pull in, unload, uncouple and run into the Headshunt (that's it).

Perhaps you might have a look when you get time.

I don't understand things like this ^^ :-? I don't think I'll bother releasing any more scenario's for this stupid 'game'!! Everything is in the package and if you've installed ALL rolling stock required - UK Rolling stock freeware pack, UK Freight Freeware Pack, Stanier Mogul, GCR Loco Freeware Pack, DT MK1's and RSC 8F Pack - then the scenario's should run! They all work perfectly for me! :-?

Really fed up with this!! :x :x
