Re: DT light pacific and rebuilt light pacific
As there doesn't seem to be a patch for the Rebuilt Light Pacific I was wondering if anyone had a work around to perhaps remove the crew entirely, I just bought my Light Pacific and haven't had a chance to try it out yet!
Re: DT light pacific and rebuilt light pacific
Did you read the rest of this thread? I've installed the patch and it fixes the problem. I got the loco from Steam.

Yes I read the thread... I didn't get the loco from steam and the patch on Digital Traction's website fixes the Light Pacific but not the rebuilt version of it, Ive tried it already.

Re: DT light pacific and rebuilt light pacific
I'm still waiting for JT to issue DT's patch for the RLP. Hopefully, it will be very soon.
The patch from Steam/DT web site is for the unrebuilt LP,
Regards, John.
A bit more info from DT's Facebook:
If you are having problems with the Light Pacific patch please contact us and we will provide a full version.
Remember however, the patch labelled 'Light Pacific 2013 Scenario patch" in the download area ONLY adds scenarios to match the current TS2013 version. You will need the patch labelled "Light Pacific patch from TS2012 - TS2013", if you have bought the Light Pacific before yesterday.
Users
of the current Ecommerce (not Fastspring) system will receive an Email about a replacement automatically.
Steam users can use the patch, but are recommended to wait until Steam automatically updates the Light Pacific.
Finally, this is the patch for the Light Pacific from our site or Steam not the Rebuilt Light Pacific. Just Trains will be providing that patch shortly.

Re: DT light pacific and rebuilt light pacific
I have had another look at the JT support page today and there is nothing there about the patch for the RLP. Anyone know differently?
Regards, John.

Re: DT light pacific and rebuilt light pacific
I thought I saw on another thread that they have had it for awhile. I think they have to make an installer for it, but this does seem to be taking a long time. Pity that DT could not have put it on their site being that they made it, would have made life a bit easier, but who are we to say.levisham wrote:I have had another look at the JT support page today and there is nothing there about the patch for the RLP. I emailed JT over a week ago about it, reply was when it was available it would be on their site, stating the obvious really....

I have e-mailed JT support about this, hope to get a reply soon. I just need to now how to get the driver and firman back into the cab. I don't like the idea of the men being upfront near the smoke box.

Re: DT light pacific and rebuilt light pacific
DT did a great job on the unrebuilt with the problems and updated the loco paint and headcodes, so I'm sure the rebuilt will be great as wellJamesC wrote:I have e-mailed JT support about this, hope to get a reply soon. Rubbish, it's entirely prototypical...JamesC wrote:... I don't like the idea of the men being upfront near the smoke box.

Re: DT light pacific and rebuilt light pacific
Where is the asset fpr the Rebuilt LP, not in Just Trains or DT then?
Intel Core i7 2600K 3.40GHz @ 4.60GHz,
Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 3072MB
Motherboard: Intel Z68 (Socket 1155), 8MB DDR3 RAM. On-board Sound
Windows 7 64
I Mean, that should do it?

Re: DT light pacific and rebuilt light pacific
I succeeded in resolving the problem with the Rebuilt LP by going to http://www.justtrains.net/account.asp, as JT's site suggests, logging on there and downloading the updated installer. In practice I deleted my current installation of the Rebuilt LP first and re-installed with the updated installer.
I'm sure this is the right way to do it and is a correct reading of what JT suggest at http://www.justtrains.net/supportfaq/re ... ht-pacific. It is not a patch but a new installation and if you subsequently superimpose the Service Pack the problem will still remain.
