I stated what I think and _why_ I think that. Period. You never dealt with my reasoning and yet speak of unsubstantiated conspiracy theories?

Additionally, we all know how RSC treats _some_ bugs. Period.

Perhaps you could enlighten us why the class 77 speedometer issue has not been fixed in such a long time as I mention above? It makes driving the class 77 without using the F4 HUD impossible (which spoils the experience for me) and yet there's no _official_ fix.

Don't get me wrong: if RSC fixes the sound problems rest assured I'll be very happy about it. I just expressed my worries this may never happen and why it may be so...

In other words, just a theory (educated guess?) with no official word as it's basis.
Sound problems have been around since the days of RailSimulator, which points towards it being an issue with the core of the game--although some have reported installing various sound enhancements has cured their problems it hasn't worked for everybody. Given the vast differences between the PC's used it should be no surprise that nobody has yet found a 'cure all' fix. Remember that a problem that affects everybody can be replicated easily, and a fix quickly produced, but when it comes to finding a fix for the 'x'% that use a Realtek HD enabled sound system it will probably be different to one that works for the 'x'% using a Sound Blaster add-in card, and both will be different to what is needed for that other 'x'% using Xonar cards.......

RSC may not give this issue priority, just as they may not give the totally unrelated class 77 speedo problem priority, but how RSC go about running RSC is up to them--whether we like it or not that's how it is, and the only way to nudge them into addressing our own personal 'gripes' is to drop them a nice polite and detailed report about any issues we may have.

To settle this once and for all with substantiated fact straight from the horses mouth, Shergar assures me a fix will come out shortly. Hope he's right because I get this problem with my Creative X-Fi sound card.

So it seems I owe RSC an apology: the issue has just been fixed by today's update (Dec 3rd).
