L+B route Bridge/Tunnel Sounds

Hi all, I just bought the London-Brighton route which is fantastic, I really love it. Only thing is, there doesn't seem to be any sounds at all when you go through a tunnel or under/over a bridge. Is this because of some incompatablity with the new 2013 sounds?
If so, is there a way I can link them with the default sounds or will I have to wait and see if the route is upgraded?
Thanks for your help.
Dave

Sounds alright to me. Have you got EFX turned on in the audio settings.

The tunnels in L-B have EFX and a few of the wider bridges, but not the smaller bridges. The same goes for Settle-Carlisle. I've edited S-C to add them but can't edit L-B because of the frequent SBHH errors when I open this route in the editor.

Having just driven the 86 in WCMLN (I couldn't drive the WCML before, the performance was terrible - TS2013 has fixed all that) I found Keith set all of the bridges to have echo.. The mutts nuts! Incidentally the 142 doesn't seem to have the cab occlusion set up correctly, no EFX in the cab.

Pretty much any third party addon or soundpack with completely different in cab sounds, as opposed to muffled exterior sounds, doesn't reverb in the cab. This is actually fairly accurate, as any cab I've been in in tunnels/enclosed spaces doesn't echo and reverb as you're inside, exceptions for when the windows are open. However, the sound generally just changes to a banging roar in reality.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I wondered if I needed to do a verify cache as L+B was installed after the update. I tried EFX on and off, it didn't seem to make any difference. I tried out of cab view in a tunnel but only heard the train's (cl377) engine noise.
Must be just a 3rd party thing like you said, perhaps it'll be upgraded in the future?
Regards
Dave

Pray tell, how does one add over/under bridge sounds? It seems daft to have EFX and not utilise it in-game by the route builders!

The bridge & tunnel sounds are controlled by the track properties. I've not looked to see if it's one of the properties that can be altered in the scenario editor, rather than being only available in the Route Editor.

Most of the recent and newest payware DLC was created with an inside, and separate outside soundset. This was partially due to the older TS2012 engine being unable to cope well enough with the reverb and occlusion effects.

e.g.
The default class 37 has only one soundset.
The 'AP class 37 pro' soundset has two, an inside 'cab' set and an outside soundset.

It now seems like using only the one soundest may be the way forward again! I wonder how newer DLC will work in the future.

Unfortunately internal sounds usually vary so much from the external ones that it would be rather unrealistic to go back to one sound set and only muffle the external sounds for internal ones. What is really needed is when entering a reverb environment, the external sounds leak into the internal sounds.
