TS2013 and empty RSDL directories!

Hi All,
Whilst testing some third party scenarios from Richard Armstrong I discovered, much to my horror, that a number of the old RSDL asset directories are now EMPTY !!!!
For example, the Class08, Class66 and UKWagons01 'Default' stock folders are now empty!!!! Scenarios and other Repaints that reference the 'Default' assets in these directory trees are now broken!
I have yet to check other directories, like RSC and Kuju. Does anyone know where the new home for the Class66 is for example?
I can forsee lot's of editing to be done with RWTools
Anyone else also notice that the old 'default' asset locations have changed, or is it just my installation?
Cheers.

Hi All,
Well, maybe it's just my installation
Turned out that my S9BL Class158 'Default' directories were also AWOL!!!
E-mailed RSC and they have confirmed that these assets have not moved or been restructured. The contents should be there. Their suggestion was to perform a 'Verify cache', which I had already done as a matter of course. However even the Verify Cache did not reinstall the missing items. Their next suggestion, remove RailWorks in it's entirety and then reaquire via Steam to effect a complete re-install!
The prospect of having to uninstall and remove ALL of my third party and freeware Assets and Routes followed be reinstalling the whole kit and caboodle is just daunting. Ye Gods! Why me?
Cheers

It's not just you. A random check shows I have the same problem. My Kuju Class 08 folders are also empty.
A reinstall is a tedious last resort usually recommended only by lazy support staff. I suggest you either copy over the missing files from your backup (the missing files are there in my old TS2012 folders) or wait until RSC realize it's a problem at their end.

My Class 66 is where it was before, namely in RSDL/RailSimulator/RailVehicles/Diesel

Hi Mate,
Yeah, I also have a complete backup from immediately before the upgrade. The nuisance is going to be determining just what is missing, and where!
Interesting that you still have your Class66 but not the Class08?? What on earth is going on.
Cheers, and thanks for letting me know I'm not entirely alone

Confirming that my Class 66, Class 158 and UKWagons01 folders are empty since the patch ... and a Steam verify has not brought them back. Have far too much DLC to bother trying to do a complete reinstall, so will wait and see if RSC/Steam come up with anything.

My Class 66 files were gone too. I have now copied over the missing files from my backup and all seems well.

Well god knows whats happening with my setup after the core update
All routes have no sky effects missing scenery - Newc York missing signal lights - spent 6 hours last night trying to track the problem down, upgraded another base 2012 installation this morning and same result losing another 3 hours - Utilities useless no EnableAsync keys - a godsend for testing long scenarios
My normal installation useless - my default base installations useless - I darent even think about letting it near any of my dev setups.
Maybe its time to give up and leave this place - RSC yet again as far as I can see you messed things up again people have better things to do than waste time repairing what should have been a simple run straight out of the box upgrade.

Golden Rule 5. Wait a week before upgrading.

I've just taken the TS2013 update and all seems to have been painless except..........RSDL Class 08 and Class 66 have been emptied (effectively nicked as we've all paid for them!). Apart from that all appears OK. The only third party glitches I've spoted so far are DT's RB Light Pacific's crew dancing on the boiler and all my IHH Bo-Bos have lost their instrument panel dials.
My 'Collection' page does show the Class 08 but doesn't show the Class 66 so presumably it's piced up the 08 from somewhere.

Surely we cannot be expected to buy these items again
Kind regards James.

And I've just noticed the UK Wagons is empty as well so that is the RSDL Folder evacuated - why and to where?

To remove stuff that has been paid for is surely not legal.
Kind regards James.

I'm just as annoyed as I wanted to take a spin to see if my Freightliner Class 66 scenario will work, not anymore as the .bin file is missing.
Odd, because in the RSDL/Class66 engine folder is...the green 66.bin..? I also note that the AP HHA wagons were missing too so I'll re-install that. I am also missing the FGW and SWT repaints that were from AP's extra bonus pack, that I also installed as it had the green 66 in it, but after a clear blueprint cache thing in the tools, it re-started and still nothing works
I would E-mail, but I'm still waiting 2 months down the line for a response as to weather the dispatcher will be fixed (and I got the default E-mail, have you verified cache ect.....errr yes, but what's that got to do with it

)
