You can keep an eye on this as you go along though. Make sure you don't have the F4 view open, then press F1. Then view the list of stops with the big red x's and green tickssundog wrote: It's pretty frustrating to do a 100 minute run to find you've failed right at the start!

A good solution is to go in to the editor, go to the timetable view and un-tick all the timed station stop boxes for the player train, that way you won't get that stupid failed to make station stop message and red cross against the scenario.

Actually, I'll try this!davejc64 wrote:A good solution is to go in to the editor, go to the timetable view and un-tick all the timed station stop boxes for the player train, that way you won't get that stupid failed to make station stop message and red cross against the scenario.
I haven't fiddled about much in the editor apart from altering terrain on a cloned route, I've left scenarios well alone...
*EDIT* The guard buzzer acknowledgement (key N) has always worked fine for me so far, but the sound is a bit flaky.

we could raise the sensitivity of the keypress if ti would helprabid wrote:Has anyone had issues with the guard not buzzing "bzz-bzz" ready for departure at the end of a station stop? I have but want to make sure I'm not the only one before reporting it to Lord Armstrong.

The keypress works fine Dave, it's the "bzz bzz" from the guard I'm not hearing after the doors close.DaveDewhurst wrote:we could raise the sensitivity of the keypress if ti would helprabid wrote:Has anyone had issues with the guard not buzzing "bzz-bzz" ready for departure at the end of a station stop? Sorry to hear the guard's buzzer doesn't always seem to be playing. I've got three thoughts on what this might be:
1) Classic TS2012 audio resources issue
2) To hear the buzz, you must be in the cab whilst the doors start to shut or the sound won't active as it is 'internal' only
3) If the doors don't open on the front coach of the unit, the buzzer won't sound.

I'd also like to thank all involved in the creation of this unit. Excellent modelling and great fun to drive, well done all round

Cheers Richard, I'll bear those criteria in mind tonight when I continue my ride down the S&C on the "bus".phat2003uk wrote:Sorry to hear the guard's buzzer doesn't always seem to be playing. I've got three thoughts on what this might be:

Look forward to a possible future scenario pack - did these ever get into Scotland (E2G, SECML)?

Re: Class 142 Diesel Multiple Unit Add-on coming soon!
Hi Rabid, not that far North, but there have been pacers on Carlisle to Dumfries services in the past replacing 156s, as far as I know. Not anymore though.
Happy to be corrected

The Pacers are restricted with respect to the routes they can run on in Scotland. See http://www.scot-rail.co.uk/page/class+142 for the list of where they are allowed.

So little scope there, in theory they could be used on Darren's yet-to-appear Edinburgh-Newcastle route?
Or even Keith's possible/maybe/release of GSW?

Newcastle to Metro Centre services, yes.
GSW too, but again, they are/were very rare.

I am personally using the 142's on GARL and E-G. Since I think it is such a shame that Scotland cannot join in on the Pacer love

Thank christ they aren't allowed on the northern lines, although if you went on one to "The Fort" then there is at least the A+E department next to the station so that you can have your hips realigned from the jointed track bouncing!

I'd advise against using them on the S &D since you are in grave danger of ending up grounded!
