I know, but he implies wrongly that it's nowhere near close to a standard 2, when it clearly is, taking the minor frontal differences aside.

Heck it even whistles like a standard 2, thanks to Matt.

I'd only appreciate a proper standard 2 to take the role of 78019, so an attempt to represent the loco freeware does me nicely for now.

Used it a lot in scenario creation on the GCR, so I was glad to have it, perfect or not. It's a representation of the specific loco, that's what mattered to me.

He's not wrong, they are noticeably different in appearance as befits a different class of locomotive.
The design was derived from the Ivatt-designed LMS Class 2MT 2-6-0, with a reduced cab to enable it to fit into a universal loading gauge, and other standard fittings, most notably a taller chimney, others including the lack of an Ivatt dome and side plates connecting the two sections of the engine. Like the LMS predecessor the BR design had a tender cab to enhance crew protection and visibility when running tender-first. They were all attached to a BR3 type tender. These locomotives are often known by the nickname "Mickey Mouse".

What you wish to use it as is neither here nor there to the accuracy of the list.

I got it for Falmouth thinking it would be better than the 0-4-0's supplied. And Mike Round does a WD 8F 2-8-0 which was available but after he did some mods to it the UKTS upload was a problem.
Added the 1366, the 2-8-0 is there as the Robinson O4, which is available in UKTS.

There was a WD "Austerity" 2-8-0 8F produced by the same creator as the Robinson O4 (again, this is a different class; the WD was based on the LMS Stanier 8F) which has since been withdrawn from the library

Thanks for that Foggy. I would have said exactly the same. The ROD and WD are two different animals. Mike Round (IKE) did try to upload his lastest version of the WD 8F but it was rejected for some reason, or reasons unknown, and he didn't try again. Perhaps he could be persuaded to try again because I have the lastest version and it's a very good model, and the the WD's were pretty widespread over most of the regions so it would be a very useful model to have available. IKE did upload his Patriot recently so he hasn't given up on UKTS!

Regards, John.

Welcome to the forums! Nobody has made a Stirling Single for Railworks/TS2013 yet.

I had been looking for a Q1 and this list was a huge help in finding it, cheers! Just a quick question though, is the cab view that comes with it correct, or do I grab the Q1 cab view out of the UKTS download library?

Hi, it comes with it's own cab view - the UKTS file is likely to be for MSTS rather than TS20**! :)
