Good point Richard especially as the clues have pointed towards the N.S.E era when L.E.Ds weren't even in use on BR.

It has been said that the route is to be released with the Electrostar, though.

One of the picture clues was a N.S.E 12 car stop marker......

Its only recently really thats LEDs started to appear on the BML. Electrostars were introduced before that ;)

Not sure about the BML but there are still some NSE (and even Connex) car stop markers knocking about on the network.

Agreed. I found it incredibly annoying that on the Portsmouth line, all signals had been turned into ultra-modern 2-light LED signals. Even where new LED signals have come in on the line, they have are mostly 3- or 4-light!

As long as the colour-light signals have 3 or 4 lights, I'm happy.

Me too :D
'Why is it that the railway station is so far away from the village?'
The local pauses for a while, then replies:
'They thought it would be a good idea to build it next to the railway line.....'

It was electrified in 1933, which "steam era" are we talking about? :)
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

I doubt it somehow. PDL is quite an intensive route at the moment as it is, adding huge swathes to that would make it unusable for a lot of users. It's not a chance worth taking really.
