If it's coming with the 377 then it's going to be quite modern. I hope Thompson or RSC now come out with a 319 aswell. This is now the second modern route on the bounce so I'm going to guess the next route from RSC will be a steam route.Gavin-D wrote:No suprises about this been announced I hope they do it in the modern day era.
If it's the "Same" Alan Thomson then i'd take his word for it. HUGE ASSUMPTION Alan Thomson on Facebook = Alan Thomson of http://www.thomsoninteractive.com/ (GARL, E - G, Class 170, Class 150 Creator), had models of the Turbostar and Electrostar series on Trainz, which means that the Electrostar will be a Thomson release for Railworks and therefore the route will be built either by Thomson OR RSC especially for the units. (Remember the big moan that occurred when the Class 170 appeared and a few months later E - G appeared with no discount for existing 170 owners).FoggyMorning wrote:I can't actually see any AWS ramps?
I don't care who is saying it, I still can't see any AWS ramps in that picture!AndyM77 wrote:If it's the "Same" Alan Thomson then i'd take his word for it. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.sean53 wrote:If it's confirmed that it's another plastic route from RSC then my Railworks days are at an end, i'll go back to flight sims. This sim needs earlier eras to survive. Not good market sence to ignore your largest market
Well to be fair, the sim still has other issues that outweigh era related releases that still need urgently addressing (but I won't beat that dead horse any more, as it's been done to death). It's "fairly" easy to 'de-modernise' a route, and lets face it 3rd rail has been around since, what, the late 50's / early 60's (my railway history isn't perfect), so really and truly dump the LED signals for some semaphore / bulb type and the route would be in a different era.sean53 wrote:If it's confirmed that it's another plastic route from RSC then my Railworks days are at an end, i'll go back to flight sims. I would think the largest market (and probably by a considerable margin) is for contemporary routes. That said, there is a good amount of content available for earlier eras, although more is always welcome.sean53 wrote:If it's confirmed that it's another plastic route from RSC then my Railworks days are at an end, i'll go back to flight sims. I would guess Victoria, though I suppose London Bridge is a possibilitybGriff wrote:I wonder what London terminal we are going to get. Maybe all of them?
