Yes I agree with Steve, this route has a lot more to it than A-B, very unlike the PDL in that respect.

I remember seeing a train of Transit vans on flat wagons quite often, back in the 70's
and a daily goods train of mostly standard type vans with a "K9" head code, yes, the same as that robot dog on Dr Who at the time :)
And don't forget the icicle train in the winter, I think it was an OLE maintenance train which was used to clear the icicles from Balcombe & Haywards Heath tunnels
which where both very wet tunnels,
And many P way trains too.
I've been to Eastbourne too, So what!

Nice vid, I think it shows what an excellent job in general they did with this route.

Having just completed a scenario from Brighton - London, it was fresh in my mind and speed limits, tunnels and other scenary appeared when I expected them to.

Having got the London to Brighton in the sale I have been playing around with the Free Roam to do some route learning.

Start at London Vic with the 'Queen Vic' free roam, before selecting a unit turn left, thru the brick wall to platform 2 and there is an 8 car 375.
Out on the Down Slow to drop down, via the Battersea Reversible, Longhedge Jn and the diveunder in to Platform 2 at Clapham where a 450 waits in an adjacent platform. Change ends and round the corner to Latchmere Jn and two buffer stops. Enough space to reverse an 8 coach set.
Back underneath the main lines to Platform 17 at Clapham the along the Down Slow towards Balham.

Some of the Signals don't work properly -
I went Fast Line from Victoria thru Clapham to Balham then crossed over towards Stretham Hill but I was on Green Signals all the way to Balham with no warning of the 25 mph crossing apart from the F4.

I like driving the 377 / 375 units as you only need the A & D keys, 4 power steps and 3 brake steps.

I have been downloading some activity's for this route and some mention the FCC 377 reskin (27134) But this seems to take me to another file all together.

Anyone any ideas?

Are you just creating your free roam consists and then pressing play? Then driving?

It seems like the other FCC reskin that is used by those scenarios has been removed. If you are competent with RWTools, you could swap it out with this one.

It gets you out of the .............. mess you're in -- a very easy to use tool, more or less indispensable, which allows you to (amongst other things) swap out stock in scenarios that you don't have for stock you do. Well worth the price of a pint to be able to use it once your free trial has elapsed. Includes a pretty good manual, and there are many in here who are well conversant with it if you need help.

Incidentally, I believe the 'missing' FCC class 370 skin was file number 29168

29167 was my version of the FCC 377. I have removed this file from UKTS, but you can download it from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?115g86ia161oh6p
It is also included as part of the extra stock pack from AP as part of the JHA wagon pack.

It uses copies of the SE-White geometry files. Any problems with the installation, give me a PM.

Thanks for making the reskin and scenario available again. Unfortunately I had a hard drive crash and lost all of my RW stuff.

No. I go to the Free Roam 'Queen Vic' and either pick the Southern 377 in Plat 17? or the Southeastern 375 in P2.
What's wrong with that?

Just wondering if anyone who runs TS2012 in Legacy Mode has had problems with the lack of lighting at night?

Impossible to do the Smitham Stopper scenario because the platforms aren't lit. I can't use TS2012 because it causes such a large hit on frame rates and it is a shame that i don't get to see the route at night.

Does every post you ever make have to be confrontational? Particularly when someone is trying to help you, it's becoming tiresome.

The reason I asked that question was because of what you said about signals. If you had created your own scenario, you have to save and return to the main menu before restarting the scenario from there, the signals all have to be reset. As you are using an existing scenario, that doesn't seem to be the case though. I was only trying to help and offer a possible solution.
