Reluctant to try gypbrc's workaround for the SBHH error in the scenario editor, but the error really is driving my up the wall. I get it whenever I move to a new area - pretty much everything loads, including lofts, then WHAM! - SBHH.

So what I'm doing is place a train, edit in timetable view, save, move to a new area and then expect SBHH. Sure enough...

Scenario editing surely shouldn't be this painful. Almost as tedious as a certain match which I'm listening to on 5Live...

Yeah, I agree. I think this is just down to the sheer amount of assets along most of the route. Great from a visual point of view, but a killer from a processor point of view. I found it did work though and the editor ran better than it ever had. I was able to place an extra 16 AI services, use Chrome to display the timetable and use Windows Media Player at the same time without a single SBHH.

Try it by just renaming the lofts and roads folders and see how it goes. Or not. It's up to you.

I really wouldn't call it spoilt. I think its one of the best routes I've ever seen for any simulator. I honestly don't think some track sounds spoil it. If they annoy you that much get out the JT67 and the Pullman's from the other place and drive the VSOE to Brighton.
I agree with you wholeheartedly about about the route, but what I am complaining about is that RSC got into this business, and they must know after 6 years at it, how to make proper track sounds, instead of a mis-looped attempt at it..

Thanks for posting that Tazman. Mine doesn't sound like that. No horn, and now I realise I am missing the high pitched starting whine too. Time to verify cache...again...

If it is the assets, try listening to the sounds in the 2D Map mode

It's great to hear track joint sounds but it does get very repetitive after a while. The Electrostars are soundproofed well and the continuously welded rails don't really give off much track joint sounds at all. It would have been the best IMO to restrict those sounds to only when crossing pointwork.

I agree and also bogie running sounds for the sense of motion on the track.

I love the route but the 377's sounds are pretty poor. The 377 horn sounds quiet on my system but the other sounds are fine. Is it possible to swap the 377's horn for the 4CIG's horn?

On the subject of sounds someone criticised the Driver - Guard signal for being a 'beep' rather than a bell. From my observation, sat behind the driving cab, the sound in the cab is a 'beep' but at the position the guard is using in the passenger accomodation a bell sounds both when the guard gives the signal and when the driver replies.

Yes that was me, it is definatly a bell not a beep in the cab, still would be easy to swap the beep for the CIG bell.

Still no horn sounds after deleting the pack and reinstalling it. Also, I've noticed that when you press the space bar the horn icon in the HUD does not light up. Anybody got a solution to this?

"London to Brighton" - the new route complete with SBHH singularity. :x

This isn't a dig at RSC but I simply don't get how these get through. I cannot understand how we get SBHH upon SBHH when scenario creating but one would assume it's fine at their end.

Understandable, whilst the route itself is fantastic the SBHH upon SBHH problem is leaving a lot of people unhappy.

Further to the SBHH issue is anyone else finding that they can't select, move or alter trains after they are placed in certain areas?

I'm finding that once a train has been placed in the Gatwick platforms its not possible to alter or move it in any way. Also seems true in certain platforms at Victoria.
