Just took a test run with the new 377 sounds, much of an improvement! However, arriving at Haywards Heath I noticed no track was to be found at Platform 4 where the supposed missing AWS ramp was. Anyone else have this issue?

Edit: Looking around more the points are even missing on the Dn shunt just outside Haywards Heath tunnel.

Ok, so the update came when I was sleeping.... My bad luck.... I is at work now, so no RW until later on... :(

For those that have got it already, can you confirm a few things regarding the sounds of the 377....?
1. Low speed screeching motor noise is gone from cab view?
2. Improved motor sound volumes from the cab?
3. Motor sounds off when coasting, Dynamic braking motor sounds present....?
4. Improved Rail Joint Sounds from the cab, as well as external views?
5. Flange sounds included from cab and external view?
6. Buffeting or track run sounds from cab view?
7. Lastly, a proper horn....?

Sorry for the questions, i just need to know if I must squeeze in some time tonight to fix those as I have limited time over this weekend, due to me firing our local steam loco.... So would like to prepare myself if needed to sit and fix these sounds....?

Thanks to anyone who can answer these questions for me :)
Regards,
Craig K

1. Yes, now it seems to only be audible at the correct times.
2. Eh, they're okay, but certainly still doesn't sound like an Electrostar to me.
3. Yes to the first, not sure what the second should sound like.
4. Improved, but again, nothing like what I've heard in the real world.
5. Yep, but again, room for improvement.
6. No improvement from what was there before.
7. Absolutely not. If you had the old MSTS London-Brighton route, the horn is pretty much the same.

After a couple days of work, I was able to make improvements to the track sounds and the 377, it actually sounds half decent at speed now. For those up for the task, the horn can be improved by creating a merge of the Thomson 170 Hi/Lo in an audio editing program.

My theory about the doors may not be correct - I have just played the Burst Pipes scenario 3 times without success because the sim decided I had only picked up passengers at 2 out of 3 stops. This was despite the fact that I kept to the timetable and stopped at every scheduled station at distance=0.0 with the doors opening fully each time. This really needs to be fixed (and not just for this route - PDL and IoW suffer the same problem) as it's extremely frustrating to do everything a scenario requires only to fail it anyway.

On the plus side, the new L2B update installed yesterday - and I can now drive the 4CIG in simple mode as the throttle & reverser controls are present (I've no idea why they weren't there before, but nothing I did [clear cache; verify etc.] would make them appear). I'm a very happy customer! :D

Around 2000 BST (as usual). It doesn't time out so you can get it when you want from Steam!

The signal at Redhill still has the feather illuminating when the line is set for straight ahead :(

Despatch an Email to Support. I did mention this to them in an email to them too but for the life of me i could not recall the station name at the time of sending it.

Clapham Jn - 7 trains on the move and only one is on the Southern section

Well I've spent the last few days slowly building one up, I've got 37 trains moving in a 20m period and it all seems good!

Just wish there was a Southern re-skin (and a/c unit door thing) for the payware 455 now. *hint hint*
If only all problems on the big railway could simply be TAB'd past...

Southern dont use 455/9's (which is the payware one) they use 455/8's which there is a reskin of one in the UKTS Freeware packs.

The door thing would be pretty straightforward. It's the lights which are off the most. The 455/8 is a pretty good model. Also don't forget the 455/8 SWT reskin in the library here. Both 455/8 and 455/9 SWT units are seen around Clapham.

On the subject of scenarios, I started on a few days ago and have added about 2 dozen AI trains down as far as East Croydon only to now get a SBHH every single time I have trie going into map view. This is with everything on lowest possible settings! :(

Your not the only one here Richard. On my Do the DOO scenario i got more than 10 SBHH's creating it. Its something RSC are going to have to fix. Shame as its sucking out all the fun for me :(
