Reskin Paddington

Hi all need some help i would like to Reskin Paddington long platforms, so they are Transparent so i put my own platform layout save having to do a 3d model as i have been on the web and there's no photos i can use is there away via photo shop thanks. :oops:

I'm confused....

If you want the textures to be invisible (usually done by making the alpha channel black) but use a different platform layout why not just delete the existing platforms?

the existing platforms are in with the model and cant be removed or can they ?.

Yes, they're part of the station model but even if you make the textures invisible how do you expect to add you own platform layout without a 3D shape file?

will use the platforms from Kuju but at the moment the reskins are not showing up.

Which textures have you edited, and how?

the textures i have edit are

oxfo_padd_Platform_Ballast
oxfo_padd_Platform_concrete01
oxfo_padd_Platform_concrete02
oxfo_padd_Platform_wallbrick01

all have alpha channel and save as dds with the correct format, ie DTX1 Mip-Maps 6&7 when i load TS2015 they don't show up i have found that there is a texture set for the platforms in GeoPcDx witch i cant reskin as RS Tools dont support the textures as you get a error cant convert multiple texture file and think this could be why its not showing is there away thanks.

You won't find textures in a .GeoPcDx file, as that's the model itself, but if you mean the .TgPcDx files that are found in the same directory as the .Geo then RSBin Tool can convert each texture separately.
However, as far as I'm aware DXT1 files don't have an alpha channel, so the idea may be dead in the water.

Just out of interest, why do you want/need to change it anyway?

would like to make paddington how it is now the model that RS did was not built to paddington ie platforms in the wrong place to me the model they done was rushed, as if it was done right the route and all assets would be in the right place as the route is off to the left in the Google earth overlay, i know Jivebunny was working on the route but i don't think it will be out now as not heard anything about the route in over a year.
