Installing TS2013

I finally decided to purchase TS2013. The DVD arrived today so into the PC went the disk and off we go! After ages installing Steam it stopped! Nothing, no train simulator! So I finally found an option to enter a product code. Looking in the DVD case I found a code and entered it. I thought that TS2013 would start installing from the DVD. No such luck! It started downloading TS2014 from the internet - 2.7GB!!! On my lowly connection that would take days. I don't want TS2014 just good old TS2013 already available on the DVD. How do I get it and avoid TS2014?

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the link - I didn't know where to look. Tried it a couple of times but unfortunately although the installation process started to look at the DVD not the internet, it hung at 7MB out of 5.5GB!! I haven't a clue what's going on but it looks like I've bought a pup. After 20+ years of flightsimming this move into train sims couldn't have a greater contrast, sadly. Where I live there is no chance of high speed internet for years yet, if at all
