Just to update om my problems. I replaced my solid state drive with a HDD (now using 3 in raid 5 configuration) all problems resolved. Thanks for assistance.
Is your SSD in ACHI mode??
My system is running train sim on the E: drive (SSD) and speeds (loading) have massively increased. It is installed far away from my C drive where wintendows is installed on.
