Signals: Getting started

Post by nobkins »

An excellent basic guide has been created by mbtech22 (Mark Brinton) and is available in two parts. Many thanks to Mark. Although they were originally created for RailSimulator they still apply to RailWorks 2.

The intention of this guide is to show how the “as supplied” signalling can be applied to custom routes in an operationally as realistic a manner as possible. This document is designed to act as a basic description of the system. The original document has now been split into two parts and now includes speed limits and mile posts and in Part 2 colour light signals. This is the same version as previouly, but has now been put into a zip format to aid downloading.

This is Part 2 to my guide on how to apply the supplied signals to routes built for Rail Simulator. This part contains information on the supplied colour light signals.( See Part 1 for semaphore signals, speed limits and mile posts.)
This is the same version as the previous, but has now been put into a zip format to assist in downloading.
