Chiltern Line

Have you given it a go? Post your experiences, particularly things that worked well. Let the team know what works and doesn't work as they cannot test the software with every combination of routes, activities and content available for MSTS. OpenRails is actively being improved and is quickly approaching v1.0. This is a great place to discuss what you can do with OpenRails.

Stef, it is a Beta version and the scenery is not complete on a lot of the route. Read the documentation with the route and it will explain this.

Hi David,
thanks for the info.

I wondered what was wrong!

I could not find the info regarding this. Where is it exactly?

Thank you.

Hi David

I installed the patch with no problems, and it has fixed the 1960 Central Line Tube stock problem, so thanks for this.

I'm still working my way through Richard's excellent activities, and continue to be impressed by the intricate trackwork and scope of the route.

As you know, I have had some problems re-starting saved activities, and I am not sure if the patch has improved things, but I was able to restart and complete the London Railway Society diesel tour activity successfully from a save.

I should add that the problem of saved activities failing to reload in Open Rails has caused me many problems in the past, so is not exclusive to the Chiltern route and its activities.

Regards
Mike

The problem with restarting activities is often caused by errors in the stock files such as as incorrect capitalization or missing spaces. Hopefully the modification by Bob have corrected these.
