Vacuum brakes (in OR)

The (vacuum) brakes of most, if not all, the diesel locos used in the Route "Thames Trent V2", eg Trainset ch_Kestrel/ch_Kestrel_VA.eng and Trainset D7575/D7575.eng, do not work ie the brakes will not stop the train; application of the brakes causes minimal or no effect on the speed of the train.
Does anyone know the parameter(s) that need changing in order to make it work under OR?

Vacuum brakes are still very much a work in progress. That said, with a little bit of planning on the fly, station stops can be made at the expense of reasonable timekeeping. The big missing items for the vac system are the large and small ejectors. The code for air brakes is in the process of being refactored and it is hoped that we can get a decent vac system out of that work as well.
EDIT:- engine only consists do have a serious stopping problem which can only be solved by using a handbrake, which unfortunately is either on or off with nothing in between.

Development of a proper vacuum brake system has commenced. It is based on the operations of the Dreadnought ejector. GWR crosshead driven system will hopefully follow at some point. Some form of description and/or diagrams of the diesel locomotive vac brake are needed, or a pointer to where same can be found.
