Firstly I'd like to thank those who took part in the test,I can only describe it as organized chaos from the dispatchers point of view.
I don't know how it was for the others who joined maybe you could post and let me know.

I think it is essential for everybody to run the same version route with the same consists and paths that way if all
are reading from the same book it's going to be a little easier.

I would like to see a dedicated dispatcher screen, one that allows you not to be in charge of a loco before you see the dispatchers screen,
with another window that allows you to jump to see other players that you highlight. It was a real pain flying over the map with the camera.

It would also help if additional info was available to the dispatcher (service and timetable info tasks ect...)anyway i could go on and on but......
I understand this is very early days for OR.The foundation has been laid and MP works.

I'd just like to thank the OR team for all the hard work,it really is appreciated.

Thanks very much indeed for hosting the session Daz. I think we had 5 trains at one point? I couldn`t stop my boys from logging on. and I hope they didn`t add too much to the chaos. From a clients perspective the session ran perfectly. I think at least 2 hours are needed for players to get oriented, but as users become familiar, I`m sure the chaos will reduce and some ordered fun emerge. My internet only runs at 3mbs, but even with 3 trains connected, it seemed fine.
I can see your point about the dispatcher needing to jump to each players location. It might be best if the dispatcher parked his train on a siding out of the way, or even had the option of not having a train.
I see the development versions offer some big improvements. The host should specify which version of OR is to be used.
Control of signal/switches is also under discussion. I think the player should have initial control, but over ridden by the dispatcher
I think Steyning is ok as a route. Maybe a bit big, but it does offer the chance for passing points and varied start locations. I think a UKTS download is best. Perhaps some of Reg (refman`s) branch lines could also be good. Too large and players would hardly ever meet.
In case anyone is wondering, you can run any stock you like. OR will chose a substitute from each players own trainset . I`ve no idea what consist Daz was running, but I saw it as a DEMU, and others probably different again.
Thanks again Daz! And thanks also to the OR team.

Sorry can't resist this

And the one in the middle was on the right
And the one on the left was in the middle
And the guy in the rear was franchised."

Try the experimental release next time, I prefer the updated dispatcher screen.
