Thames-Mersey

Post by shedbog »

Hi,
Yet again need help if possible.
158 DMU will not pull away
Tried changing braking system to Air from Vacuum as some people suggested Open Rails does not like the two versions
But no change
Sorry to keep asking for help!
Cheers!

Think I may have stumbled upon a fix
Tried driving the 156 DMU and works fine
Compared .eng files and they are different at the start for braking
Will give it a go
Thanks

Hi
Changed BrakeEqipmentType to ( "handbrake, Air_brake, triple_valve, auxilary_reservoir" )
BrakeSystemType to ( "Air_single_pipe" )
TrainBrakesControllerGraduatedSelfLapLimitedStart to Notch ( 0.3 1
TrainBrakesControllerSuppressionStart to Notch ( 0.85 0
DieselEngineMaxRPM ( 2100 )
DieselEngineMaxRPMChangeRate ( 2100 )

From Class 156
Working Fine

That is good news.

It looks like you are gaining confidence in editing eng files for OR.

The Physics section of the Coals to Newcastle site is a good resource for many such things. http://www.coalstonewcastle.com.au/physics/
