Animated rail workers
Lately I've seen a couple of vids of RW scenarios with animated rail workers. Are these default in RW? If so, I've looked for them in the assets but haven't been able to locate anything but static figures. If they're an add-on, can someone tell me where I can get them?
Thanks a lot

Also, there are these are additional ones, of Railwaymen in the 1950's, kindly made available by M1ckran (Michael Randle) :
Be nice if a set of 'Trainspotters' could be produced with Duffle coats, so they could be position at the Lineside/Platform ends, perhaps one with a camera that flashes (I did say camera that 'flashes'
) occasionally.

Depending on the period modelled, we'd also need the de rigeur Thermos flask and satchel...

Whilst on the subject of people and taking into consideration the charity RW have chosen to support, it may be a good idea to have some model figures of children?

Re: Animated rail workers
Photographers and children are good ideas, along with Permanent Way workers, station staff, and fat/short people.
Better still let's have a few scriptable characters eg a waving signalman that can be triggered by a passing train or a scenario instruction.

Must admit, I've been thinking of this as a nice triggered animation for a while, but it's outside of my (and the Blender exporters) skills...longbow wrote:Photographers and children are good ideas, along with Permanent Way workers, station staff, and fat/short people.

Re: Animated rail workers
Looks like it should be a conductor's baton rather than a token!
Pete, animated token pick-up/catching apparatus is presumably possible triggered by a passing train, with the token rotating in or out of view once triggered. For a bigger challenge the wierdly wonderful Whitaker apparatus used on the S&D would be entertaining. See the video here:
