Hi

A quick look around and no problems at all so far. All locos selectable.

I already love this delightful route and there seem to be several new innovations - such as rocking boats in the harbour - which will give route builders and modellers ideas for the future. The mixture of standard, narrow gauge and tram networks adds much to the potential enjoyment.

This offers the prospect of many hours of pleasure, particularly to newcomers to RailWorks, and I still stick by my prediction that it will be the best route seller to date.

Will buy it when I get home! $13.50 is a heck of a price for all you get.

From looking at the map and the screenshots. This route looks like the perfect route for end user modification. Almost a sandbox style route. Not that you can't edit and modify other routes, but this one just looks fun and inviting to change things to cater to your own tastes and desires.

Bought the route and downloaded tonight. From what I've seen it looks terrific and the 07 is a nice loco. Giving it a quick try before bed and ran the dock shunting scenario but had a strange problem occur. I was completing the final task, moving the empty wagons to the reception sidings when, at the top of the gradient, I seemed to hit an invisible wall. My train bounced and then started rolling back. None of the controls would respond and I ended up derailing on the quayside. Strangely, no error message came up to say I had derailed. Ctrl + Q wouldn't allow me to exit and I had to use the Exit door at the bottom of the screen. Has anyone else run this scenario yet? Will give it another go tomorrow when I have more time.

Got that too. With a message in the upper corner "Derailed click here to exit or use the menu below" (in the same type of box passing Services usually pop up in). Weird crash as you climb and pass that same gradient on an earlier task but the second run that derailment happens.

It happened right here

Lovely addon, have got a small problem with the 07, the first and last wheels do not turn but the centre wheels do. also the rods connecting the wheels are not attached to the first or last set either. have verifyed files and cleared the blueprints cache too. anyone else got this problem?

Cheers Mick.

I can't figure that bug out. I've been over that section with a fine tooth comb and nothing looks broken. So I thought, maybe it was that gradient + 4-cars causing it to derail in some way.

But in freeroam I did 4, then 5, and even 6 cars and made it past that section countless times. So, somehow in the middle of a scenario, that section grows an invisible wall. Or it's the local kids sabotaging the tracks! Darn pennies! Just out of curiosity. Do beta testers actually run these scenarios from start to finish? This should have been noticed easily before release.

6 cars, climbed gradient and passed the section in question fine.

Oh wow, you're right. Only the middle wheel moves. It's so dark there I never noticed until I actually zoomed right in up on them to see it.

Hello Derek
Firstly I'd like to congratulate everyone involved with this fantastic route
One minor bug I've found is it doesn't seem possible to jump to specific locations?
This is only a minor thing and doesn't detract from the route in anyway
I too love the way the boats rock in the harbour
The tramway has got me excited what a lovely concept to incorporate this
The narrow guage railway is also remarkable
Truly an outstanding addition to Railworks
Thankyou to you all
Kind regards Stephen

Hi,

Just a thought but if you can make a Boat rock in the water is there a chance that the same or similar data could be applied to Track to create Superelevation?

Regards
Mike

I'm just downloading this now, will have a "play" once it's ready. Now there's more NG stuff the 2 RS routes that I've ported across (Corris and East Albert Light Railway) can have some more stock :D

Just waiting on steam now ;)
