Africa or India perhaps. A big challenge but something really different for RailWorks to tackle and perhaps suitably appropriate for the chosen charity.

I've just been drooling at the screens
I like Richards Tram being incorporated into the route

Once again I say well done to all involved

Please don't shoot me now.
I have "bin" there, in India and Africa. (Bhopal and Congo).
The both invest more money in weapons then in their own people....
All the money spended by the whole world is gone with the wind.
And now China is taking over things....and I am sorry but they invest in??? Railway's.
(Siemens bailed(?) out.)

Hi,
I'm sorry to give the news that the Tram will not be in the initial release of the Addon.
RS.com have been tracking a couple of crash bugs.(more on those later, but we found some interesting issues that could help the stability of RWs)

However, Scott is looking into getting us a version back in the next day or so, we'll test then look to add the content and scenarios next week.

regards

Derek

No tram in the initial release :(

If this has highlighted a problem, however, then this is very good and will add valuable information to the knowledge database :D

Hi,

The problem with the tram is that it is looking for a texture it does not have.
A mix up when setting materials in Canvas I guess.
As we do not have the source files to change in Canvas we need Richard to re export.
He got back to me very quickly and will address when he can.
As soon as we get the file and test it the version will be uploaded.
Of course the tram lines will still be there and users can palce the Tram available here on UKTS on that line in the short term.

sorry again.

regards

Derek

It would be nice to be able to re-texture ourselves.

We could all then look handsome and young

I see it's been released on Steam tonight, downloaded successfully......

Thanks for all your hard work, hoping you make oodles of money for the charity.

EDIT: Just one small thing, there is no scenario bin file, or, xml document, in scenario number bc36383b-0636-455a-a6a6-65ceec4f8eae

I just bought it :D

But when i try to open a scenario the game crashes,
when i join the free roam scenario by editing it, the game also crashes

anyone else got this problem?

greetings
Pretent

EDIT:
just noticed it only crashes when a project platform loco is selected, the route loads fine.

Just purchased it, it's just downloading. I'll see if I have the loading problem.

Edit: No problems here, I can use the PP stock, the 07 is excellent, shame about the lack of cab view but still very well done model!

Just bought Project Platform. Its good, but I'm baffled by the decision to point a very nicely modelled terminus station (Ash Row) away from the main island. This pretty much renders the branch line pointless, and eliminates all number of potential scenarios. I really can't get my head round this :( :-?
