A.T.I. Radeon Graphics cards

My Daughter has just bought herself a new machine, and I have installed steam and railworks on this her old one.
It has an Intel Pentiun 4 2.80GHz processor, A.T.I. Radeon 9200SE graphics card (128 Mb AGP) 512 Mb DDR.

Would this be good enough to run the sim?
If the answer is yes, then I will bore you all with the details of the problems I am having.
Not being computer savvy,I have no idea what it all means.

I'm pretty sure even the 9600's couldn't run it but you could always check here

No you need alot more Ram maybe 4gb. And you could get maybe a Nvidia 9500 1gb which will run RW fine for around 30quid.

I used to have a 9200, it was a good card in its day, but well past it now.
I would be amazed if it ran RW.

the radeon 9200 card was never fast enough to play 3D games. normally this card works good for office computers, but for 3d games? forget it
in my opinion the CPU is also not fast enough. for a carefree RW enjoyment you should better buy a new computer.

but the main problem is the graphic card, it doesn't support the shader modell 2.0, so the game will not start with your configuration

Thanks for the replies guys, upgraded graphics card to an Nvidia 6200. It isn`t perfect but does the job for now.(even if Iam on low end graphics settings).
