Hi All

Don't wish to put a dampner on what is a brilliant loco, and it might just be me or my setup, but the tender wheels seem to be running too slow.

Anyone else noticed this? And I'm not talking about "strobe" effects, it happens, and is most noticable, at slow speeds.

We're releasing a patch shortly to sort the tender wheels out. Watch the site for details.

While this is NOT a critisism of this excellent model, there seem to be 6 'chuffs' per wheel revolution.

That's very odd...very odd indeed. Set up as a two-cylinder loco in the sim, so it *should* work right...can anybody else confirm this? If it is the case, then we'll have to sort that out sharpish.

I too would like to say thank you for your pricing and value for money on this product. I am a little concerned though, regarding the class 40, that considering other suppliers now supply an excellent sound set; that the Gold version of the class 40 is of lowered priority, especially considering the similarity between the 37 and 40 cab. I was always prepared to pay the extra for the Gold version, but understood that you would be providing this. What is the situation regarding this issue?

Hi agree with the comments and think this is an excellent addition. Have got it all set up to pilot the 8.25pm Bradford to Bournemouth West SO service to Evercreech Jn and even managed to lose the 'Master Cutler' Headboard. Being a night train however what I have found is that I can do the light placement OK for an express but I can't actually get them to light. Has anyone else got this problem?

I haven't seen this mentioned but I seem to be missing some textures on the tender bogies. I have installed the texture patch and cleared the blueprints. Is there some step I have missed ?

John

edit - I checked the file and the DT_2P_tender_wheel.TgPcDx file is 0kbs in size within the .rwp file as well, assuming that is why my tender wheel textures are missing.

Yes I have the same problem as you, missing textures on the tender wheels.

There is an extra texture patch for the tender, which fixes the tender wheels missing textures. Thanks DT for the quick response and a nice loco. :)

Not seen it mentioned but is there a patch for the Cab so you can see the track ahead like the Cabs on the default Steam Locos? The Cab on the 2P still has the Cab where you can’t see out.

Bought this loco a few days ago, nice loco but does appear dark like others have mentioned.
