Another payware based scenario to be released alongside the route.

Description

It is 10 June 1999 and you have taken the Virgin XC 1V56 Newcastle to Plymouth service as far as Durham. However, there has been a problem with a Mk3 TSO to the rear of the train and this service has now been terminated at Durham. You are now required to take the HST set, led by powercar number 43155 to Darlington where you will arrange your consist and leave the broken Mk3 in platform 3 where it will be picked up later. You can then re-couple remaining coaches and rear power car before heading off to York in order to be relieved ahead of your next duty.

Briefing

You are required to take the ECS HST from Durham to Darlington where you will re-arrange your consist to leave a broken Mk3 TSO in platform 3. You are then required to continue your journey to York where you will be relieved of your duty.

A full stock requirement list will be added on/nearer to release.

Any news on the price of this route? I think around 9.99 would be fair.

At this stage we dont know exactly what we are getting so its impossible to speculate on what is or isnt a fair price, what we do know is that we are getting a significantly improved route and at least one new loco. That in itself to me would suggest you are being a little optomistic at £9.99.

I have a feeling that no matter what price is announced, it won't be right, it never is!! :D :D

The original route is priced at £9.77 and other routes available are priced at around £14.66. You have to remember that this route is not just a case of adding a few masts, the route has been totally gutted and re-worked in order to be as accurate as possible. There are multiple new assets included, modern reskins and I think there are 8 scenarios included with the core pack itself all of which have had to be funded. There will also be various payware based scenarios uploaded here, to UKTS so there won't be a shortage of ways to drive the route once released.

Yes, that scenario is of course based on a real life event. :D

Really? What have I missed..?

If there's to be new locos as well then that's fantastic!!

There has been hints of maybe a 91 somewhere. Please note that I don't actually know though.

Hi guys,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I haven't mentioned anywhere that there would be a loco included. If there is something out there that mentions otherwise, please let me know.

A Royal Mail Class 325 Unit was mentioned somewhere a few weeks ago.

Indeed. My dream would have been to see a both Class 91 and Class 185 sets available, maybe not as part of the product but at least available alongside it. Just noticed the Class 325 mentioned but that is not part of the route package.

Yes, I have just seen that also.

£19.66 for the download and £24.45 for the boxed version. Now, in case anyone does have issues over the pricing, it is beyond my control and I wanted to keep this thread for my own announcements if possible. If anyone does want to chat with me regarding anything, my PM inbox is always open.

No problems here :D

...and I like these:-
The line has been extended to Darlington North Road, birthplace of 60163 Tornado, to enable further scenario opportunities.

Low Fell yard has been removed and replaced with the postal Mail depot and loading area to further enable scenario opportunities.
Hmmm, so I wonder what's coming next... :D :D :D
