Just got this route at last, I have my 390 and 86's running on it. There doesn't seem to be a lot of freight sidings for the 86 to operate in, but great route, thankyou.

Thanks Nelson, unfortunately, the real life version doesn't have a lot of sidings for the 86 to operate either! :D

I too have recently invested in NTYM, and bravo for a grand effort.

If you're considering a patch, I noticed two places between Tyne Yard and Chester-le-Street where the track kinks rather than a smooth vertical transition between gradients. A fix for this would be much appreciated (track geometry is a personal niggle of mine) ;).

Yes, something duly noted and I agree it can be very unsightly. Just trying to work out any possible solution to this because any track relaying or even splitting to smooth it out will result in all scenarios becoming null and void. :cry:

Hi Darren, sorry that wasn't meant as a criticism, more an observation, I haven't a clue how the real route is layed out. There is some scope for 86 yard work at Tyne yards where some of the sidings are powered. :)
