I have no problems with final destination on new scenarioes.

But some bugs with V200:
Still engine sound after shutting the engine off.
Sometimes i revs up, even when throttle is a 0%
No connections with wagons,while moving

mikesimpson wrote:As has been said, many of the items above have been there for a long time. However, many of them can be fixed with RW_Tools (new version v1.0.3 now does most of what RS_Tools did).

1. Can remove drivers from back cabs
2. Can remove passengers from coaches in sidings
3. Can make dead locos with no smoke or sounds
4. Can copy any route from RS to RW with a single click - this includes the IOW (to copy Assets for the IOW, just copy the Assets\RSDL folder from RS to RW manually).
5. Can also add headlight codes to many UK locos and add red tail lights to many freight wagons

Cheers for that Mike, I have donated and downloaded the tool but im assuming this will change default files and that they will be reset back as soon as steam sees they have been changed.
No, it creates copies of the default items with a different name, so it isn't overwriting default files (for example coaches with passengers removed have a _MT suffix on their names). So don't worry, steam won't (or at least shouldn't) end up resetting them.

How about on screen messages that appear unobtrusively at the top of the screen. That big black box that keeps coming up blocking my driving view is definitely very bugging.

Can anyone confirm whether any of the operational flaws in Rail Simulator listed in this thread have been fixed, improved or otherwise addressed?

It turns out they have flattened all the 3D road lofts to save on the frame rates. Unfortunately, where paved roads join to non paved roads, the road height is not the same and there is a noticeable gap. It is not easy to rectify the issue because of the way the gradient tool works. :-?

Thre is a a small issue with the BR Class 37 with the yellow nose. If you lean out of the window the yellow over the top of the nose can be seen. Go back inside the cab and there is no sign of it at all. I would have thought you may be able to see a little bit of it from the inside cab view.

Now that we have trains that have buffer compression. We can only see this happening visually by viewing between the wagons. There is no evidence of what we should hear. The train should squeal when it comes to a halt. Like wise when it starts off you should hear the wagons taking up the slack.

There is also no brake squeeking from engines. Especially from engines such as the rusy black 5.

What I would like is for someone to come out and SAY that the AI "traffic" (animated background scenery!) is the final version and will never be fixed because they don't consider it broken. If they would just come out and SAY that, I'll move on to Trainz and stop bothering everybody about it.

An answer is much appreciated.

As I recall an improved driver interface was on RS.com's early To Do list.

Hi Folks,

one point for the wishlist:

it would be nice to have Event Markers in scenarios. These Event Markers could start , stop or resume action of AI Traffic. That would raise ihmo the possibilities and would be more flexible instead of this timedriven horror. Later on this system could be advanced with possibilities to switch junctions or set signals :)
