Tired of seeing IC Swallow livery 390s

The Pendolino is pretty good, but I'm sick and tired of seeing it with the Inter City Swallow livery in scenarios. I'd like to change it so that all I ever get are prototypical Virgin liveried ones.

Would copying the textures folders from a VC liveried Pendo into the IC liveried folder solve my problems? I'd sooner not go through RW_Tools and change every instance in every scenario if I can help it...

Copying over the .TgPcDx files (I think they are named the same anyway) would solve this problem however after a Steam verification or substantial game update, you would have to do this again.

Make sure the .TgPcDx files are named the same, and copy them over to the ICS folder then in that textures folder.

LOL I like the way it looks, but I'd sooner see proper liveries for the RSC supplied scenarios.

Thanks thetrainfan. I thought it may be as easy as that, but wasn't 100% sure. I've screwed up my 37 sets before by copying bin files willy nilly without realising... I've learned the hard way.

Steam verifications don't bother me. Any RSC supplied files I alter (and I have a good lot, 66, 158 and 101 headlights, track unevenness on all routes, 66 real liveries etc) are all saved in big zip files ready to be unzipped and pasted over any verification changes.

In the non-career mode scenarios, just replace the IC Swallow ones with proper VT ones? Then copy them onto a USB stick, external harddrive etc so they can easilly be put pack if/when Steam overwrites.

Done. I compared the IC folder with Horgy's excellent reapint VT folder and copied the texture files over from the one to the other. Voila, nice Virgin liveried Pendos in the default scenarios. Excellent.

Oh yeah... and the IC folder backed up so that I can just dump it in again after the inevitable verification/update.

Given recent news, you may see prototypically branded 390s out of the box sooner rather than later...

If you clone the scenarios and swap the IC Pendolinos for Virgin ones, the job's done forever. No need to keep overwriting anything.
