Meanwhile, Second to the Class 57 (Great Sound, Physics etc) what's the next best Diesel to buy until the 57 is redone?

Mesh Tool's Class 50 is an awesome beast. Beautifully modelled and looks great on the Ox-Pad.

Also any of the diesel hydraulics, but then I'm biased in favour of GWR / BR-WR anyway.

Class 70 is pretty good I think, nice model and has AWS self test, so pretty advanced for a RSC model

OK, Bought the Class 50 plus Armstrong Sound. Really Excellent :-)

Glad you like it Pilot. It really does everything it should. And a lot more. I love driving it with the window open to make the most of that engine and track sound.

Yes, windows down all the way from Brighton to London. Perfect.

The cab looks fantastic, now I wish the 47 had such a good cab... But there is alot I wish the 47 had...

Here here - the arl girl is in such need of a cab remake - I don't drive 47's sadly as I can't be doing with the cabview - they get used as AI only - such a shame.

The 57 is looking superb though - never expected anything less from the guys at oovee
