Well there is no collision now but as for "Chasing Yellows" I have just driven flat out (where permitted) from Paddington and the fastest I can run is 95mph and I have just got to Twyford and as yet not a yellow in sight.......

That's odd, I can achieve around 120mph by the time I get to West Drayton. There aren't that many yellows to be encountered although you should get some as you get near to Twyford.

If you are achieving "only" 95mph, it seems quite likely that the signals ahead are clearing before you are in sight of them

I wonder if you've accidentally mashed the key for the hand brake? That's definitely a lot slower than you should be hitting in that distance.
