Post by mouse101uk »

I just got an update through Steam and my RSC Class 67 has been updated to TSX :D
Just thought I'd share as you might not notice the update

not a fix for this but a work around, you will need to find a copy of the old Cabview folder hopefully you have a back, rename it so that it is different i normally call Cabview_RW2 copy this into the Class 67 default folder, then you will need to edit the `bin file for each of your reskins using `serz` and find the entry that points to the cab, should look something like this

RSC\Class\RailVehicles\Diesel\Class47\Default\CabView\[00]class47_cab</InteriorGeometryID> and change to or your name of old cabfolder

RSC\Class\RailVehicles\Diesel\Class47\Default\CabView_RW2\[00]class47_cab</InteriorGeometryID>

this should make the cabview look normal again but will not have any rain effects

Looking at all the repaints I have I think it might be easier to substitute the JT version which I have.

I can't understand why RSC are removing all their soft shadows from under rolling stock, but on second look other shots have it included, so maybe something's off with this particular screen. But they had done it to other bits of DLC, if I recall this was the case with the 325 and it looked as if it was floating off the track, so I don't know what possessed them to do it, however if anyone does prefer it I'd be interested in hearing why.

Thanks,
