Although like most people seem to like WCML(N) which is a FAB route and is my favorite DLC route for the reasons in previous comments, the best payware route although not DLC has to JT Scottish ECML, has very good scenery and the awesome model of the Forth Bridge you get Voyager unit, EC HST and a scotrail livery of the class 166, although i deleted this as it is fictious, the routes also has a mixture of fast running speeds and a few low speed curves which does keep you on your toes.

You do _not_ get the Voyager with the SECML, it has to be purchased separately.

Woodhead. You get all those route miles, electric Class 76, steam 8F, plus coaches and freight wagons, and scenarios included in the cost. There are a number of freeware scenarios that use default stock only. Definitely one of my best buys to date. I'm waiting for the summer sale, too. :)

yes i was looking at Woodhead, it does look like it has alot in the dlc for its price.
