Hi,
Having some issues with London-Brighton; trying to make scenarios, it keeps SBHHing, I have made the graphics the lowest setting :/
It worked this morning as I made a quick free roam, but now it just seems to not work
Any ideas what I may have done wrong?

I had the same, I found turning off all unnecessary background applications on my PC seemed to do the trick. You could try Gamebooster that pretty much automates the closing down of unnecessary applications that might be hogging the CPU/RAM.
I also stuck in an extra 2gb of RAM into my PC making it 8gb and that seemed to help too. That 2gb is from my other computer that sits next to my bed gathering dust. I hardly use it so that stick of RAM tends to join into my 'Gaming PC'.
I have found this to be a fix for most other SBHHs. Mostly, it's the RAM, having too many unnecessary (background and normal) applications open running whilst running Railworks means Railworks doesn't have as much RAM as it could have. Try turning Antivirus off, close Internet browsers etc.

The editor does not work for me unless i cap frames to 30fps. My SBHH is caused by heat which this tick box solved. Also Game booster is a nice ap for shutting down all un-needed apps while playing games and resets once out of game. Very adaptable and makes my game a touch smoother too.

Having scudded about the route having a look around I too have continual SBHHs and have to quit and start all over

Don't know about the scenario editor, however the world editor is very stable for me. I was flying around a lot last night removing needless scenery to reduce asset count, not one SBHH

I have written to RSC about this issue which is still a big problem for me and is making my first scenario for this route a nightmare to write. I got this reply: I will place this in the London to Brighton feedback area and ask some of the development guys to take a look at it, they may be able to offer some general advice, however I would have thought that if this problem is specific to this particular route there will be many more creators affected, if that is the case, it will be investigated and any necessary updates will be released quite quickly anyway.
Now it may be that the new core update just announced will improve things but for now if you have this problem then I would urge you like me to notify RSC if we want it fixing.

Earlier this week I send them this:
Good afternoon guys,
Did the steps described below, but I'm still getting numerous SBHH errors in L2B scenario editor. It starts with the route being locked every time I start up TS2012. So have to unlock it every time before I can make 1 or 2 changes to a scenario I'm creating before the next SBHH error pops-up telling me TS2012 crashed again.
With 4 Gb RAM and a 512Mb graphics card I don't suspect my system to be the "bad guy" in here, especially not since other routes do not generate these SBHH errors.
Very little people try to make scenario's for L2B at the moment due to the issue described above. May I please ask you to seriously investigate the matter concerning this particular route and keep us informed via Twitter or your website about your findings and solutions to the problem?
I hope a simple update might do the trick as a large community is desperately waiting for a solution.
Yours,
Maarten Otto

I have this same problem, seems to be whenever I zoom to a new area and as it starts loading the surroundings, I get the SBHH message. Problem areas seem to be Balham, Victoria and Hassocks...oddly enough, I can zoom about the Clapham area with no problem.

Same here, even with a 30FPS lock and using gamebooster I still get SBHH. I cant even enter the scenario editor without starting gamebooster first without being bombarded with SBHHs. Lets hope RSC pick up on this and find a solution.

At least we are not alone. As I said before if everyone who is getting this issue can email them as you and I have then I think they will get the message. I have almost got there with my first scenario so it is possible but so much more painful than normal and saving constantly before the next SBHH. I found the area between Preston Park and Burgess Hill to be the worst. Am currently working on my scenario with everything set to as low as I get it. I got a new high spec gaming machine at the end of last year so like you can't see it is my machine that is the problem - especially with lowest settings.
