driver vigilance problem

Hi ,
I have brought the london to Brighton ,route but I can't seem to get the driver vigilance to work .isn't it a beeping noise every minute if the throttle isnt moved but it doesn't sound at all I use cruise control ,will it not work when that is being used .

you need to press Shift + Numpad Enter or Ctrl + Numpad Enter (I cant remember which) to enable it, its off by default
Then when it sounds you press Numpad Enter to acknowledge it.
Its in the manual
