Re: London - Brighton Problem
I logged off Windows using the Log Off option on the Start button and then signed back in. This solved the problem and now everything works properly.

Cleared the blueprints cache, verified the cache, restarted the computer and still it doesn't work. It would seem all of the files haven't downloaded as some folders are empty. It's rather puzzling then that the verifying of the cache didn't download the missing files. A tad disappointing!
Re: London - Brighton Problem
Very strange since all the other addons most of us have downloaded have installed correctly without issue.

Yep - things have suddenly started working for me too. Very odd...
I bought the combined package for £29.99. However, in Simple Drivings Controls mode the 4CIG scenarios have no throttle or reverser present on the F4 panel and so I cannot move the train (all controls appear in Full Driving Controls mode). The keyboard alternatives also don't work - so do I assume the 4CIG scenarios are not playable in simple mode?

No, in my case, the steam verify worked for me as it had to download 50 items.jivebunny wrote:You can't clear the cache after launching the game. You need to close the Railworks launch screen first and then re-launch it from Steam, the Clear Cache button will then be available.Basherz wrote:It certainly isn't the game cache as that button was "greyed out", but doing the Steam verify at the moment.
I don't know why RSC don't systematically tell people to clear the cache before launching the game, 9 times out of 10 it clears the problem.

Anyone got a problem with the 421 sound? I get a continous clicking sound which is not very nice if you are wearing headphones.

At the risk of sounding repetitive and blowing my own trumpet, you could just skip purchasing the payware version and download the freeware Southern reskin which should appear in the UKTS library later today. If you have the AP soundpack it's already compatible with it, and comes with the added benefit of sporting a headlight, a more accurate paint job, the correct unit numbers and even semi-automated installation which copies over the GeoPcDx files from the NSE version.MallardFan wrote:Does it work with the new Southern 4CIG yet?
