A 121 Bubble car gets my vote. As do the quirky Railbuses such as Pacers and some older ones I cannot remember the name of...built in Europe but brought here in the 60's I think...feel free to correct me.

Class 117 unit for use on Paddington - Oxford route as it is lacking suitable units for the BR period when 50 worked the line, also love a class 104 or 110 as these worked around Manchester where i live

117/121/122 would do for me. I remember the 117's replacing the 61XX locos & suburban stock at Paddington. Horrible units at the time, ousting steam, but you grow to like them over the years.
