A Swindon Intercity unit would be nice, preferably a Trans Pennine 124. Another vote for a Bubble car too

Another vote for a Bubble car as well. Since can be used with modern stock since Chiltern use one.
Also for a Class 126 as well.

Somehow I think this would be interesting. I find this prototype railbus strangely intriguing

Check the RWA forums, GreatNortherner is in the process of building one.Oldpufferspotter wrote:How about, for our USofA friends, a 'doudlebug' Gas-electric Railmotor. A good all round economic railcar similar to our 'bubble cars', only they were drivable from one end only, and had a lot more character. They could haul a training load like the later GWR railcars. I have a model one in HO gauge - fascinating machines!!
regards Ted.
116/117/118/121 ( pretty much all the same shell ) would be my pick; I'm sure Derek mentioned wanting to do a 117, but who knows when.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

I would love a Derby Lightweight for the Carlisle area, a class 108 and variants for the Manchester area, and a Class 118 and bubble for the Paddington and Bristol areas.

I would vote also for the 117 as it would not only be useful on Paddington to Oxford but also South Devon Banks, Bristol Exeter and the upcoming Avonmouth line. The Regional Railway liveried sets ended their days working out of Haymarket. I would imagine a class 121 bubble car could be easily created out of that.
I too would love to see a 120 cross country set, would be useful for both Scottish and Western routes.
First generation DMU's are my favourite trains so for me the more the merrier!!
I think I read somewhere that Derek was making a class 117!
Peter.

At risk of spoiling the party, this thread won't achieve anything here... If someone with an FB account wants to post on RSCs page and link back to this thread I expect it would get a fair following.

If it had been an actual poll the results could have been passed onto RSC, that's what I thought it meant by the thread title.bdy26 wrote:At risk of spoiling the party, this thread won't achieve anything here... In fairness to the OP, I took it that he was just trying to gauge interest at this point

I only mention RSC in response to the post I quoted, nothing to stop any poll results being passed on to all the developers.FoggyMorning wrote:Other developers may be available![]()

There is already a Class 105 for railworks.
