Good Morning everyone,
I personally will not be buying this pack, for several reasons.
1) I literally do not have any money at all (

)
2) I already have the Class 67 pack, and rarely use it, despite being a good model.
3) I'll probably end up just buying JT's 67, which looks (apologies) far superior from the videos and images I have seen.
4) I really do not care at all for the Jubilee.
5) I'd only get this for the Royal Train stock, and that's not until a sale.
Sorry if I inadvertantly offend anyone,

How can you offend anyone with a perfectly opinionated post?

Oh, and I see my post was reported? Yet all of the trolling can happily remain, not just in this thread but any other?
You see, a thread for a new product in my eyes should be about the product. I would like the thread to have WIP screenshots posted, information about the addon when it becomes available but more importantly, discussion about what can be done with the product when it is released to further the enjoyment of those who buy it. By that I mean scenario ideas, history of the product and general banter, something that makes this forum a nice place to be. Problem is, the threads are constantly hijacked with the same stuff we have seen in dozens of other threads and the forum then becomes a chore to visit.
So on that note, I'm out. Try not to enjoy yourselves too much. Goodbye.

Can steam allow RSC to set a upgrade price and a new user price ? As that should keep all sides happy if they could do that. But as for reporting Darren's posts I can't see anything reportable and i'm willing to bet this person that reported him wll want cresston V4.

Surely a discussion about a whether a new product would also update essentially the same product is a perfectly justifiable conversation about the new product?
A repeat of the S&C steam pack approach here is likely to affect many people's decision to buy or not buy this pack. I'd rather talk about the product on it's merits too, but the "bundling and fragmentation" approach is a pretty big issue for many people that is likely to be relevant to most future RSC releases.
Update the 67 for everyone else (which is not exactly a difficult thing to roll out) and lots of people will be very happy. Or if you want to be commercially clever, include the update with the jubilee 67 then roll out the general update a month later.

Nothing at all with the points you raised and im the same. I myself haven't really touched the RSC 67, since i got the JT one. If i was to get this add-on of add-on, i would get it for the stock, but completely depends on the price though.

Sadly always trolls and other like wise people about though, I can't see anything wrong with the post you left though myself.
But after the issue that has happened with the S&C scenario pack/ stock pack i can see why people are a bit miffed with it though. In the end if yo don't want don't buy.

It's certainly technically possible, as several other items have already had a discount if you already own other DLC (eg Ohio Steel 2 had a discount if you had Ohio Steel 1, and GARL had a discount if you already had the 380). How the pricing for this pack will go is completely guesswork at the moment, and how much interest I have in it will depend on that (I already have the RSC 67).

Ohio Steel 2 was sent out freely to those who had the previous one I think? Or am I mixing it up with the vR ICE-1?

No idea about the ICE-1 (don't have it), but Ohio Steel 2 is £11.99 'upgrade' or £19.99 normally -

Ah OK, seems my memory was wrong then. The vR ICE-1 was definately sent out free to those who previously bought the German Railroads' one.

Why is it that whenever someone questions whether RSC plan to update DLC locos they are instantly labelled as a RSC hater?

I don't know. Why is every RS.com release automatically met with waves of cynicism, scorn and contempt?
It's perfectly valid to ask whether RS.com intend to upgrade other variants of the DLC, but it can be done in such a way that isn't bashing their motives all the time, and I'm not sure it's really necessary to overwhelm every thread about new products with the same old questions.

Possibly because we have been "spoilt" by better offerings from 3rd party devs? It seems to me to be the main reason that the natives are restless!
I would like to add if Darren pops in to have a look I certainly do not "hate" RSC, but I will have a say if I am not happy with something whoever makes it, or a strategy a company advocates especially when I am spending my hard earned.

Just seems they have deserved heavy critics if almost every product they've released is weaker than 3rd party competitors one. The quality bar has to be raised in every aspect not only in 3d modelling.

Hi
I find it strange when people are accused of being RSC haters,as if it is personal,i dont know anybody who works for RSC,i dont really care, what does matter is the product they are trying to sell me.
I like baked beans, but i dont give a monkeys if poor old jim the label designer spent hours of work, only for it to be rubbished ,but if the quality and customer care fail i complain! RSC are a comercial company just that and no more,i dont have to be grateful to them for producing something that they want me to buy,its just another item,so if i critisize its most definatley not personal.
But getting back on subject the 67 Jubilee add-on looks nice, if nicely priced say £5,the problem is that JT,s 67 is just----well better.
Regards
Kev
