Despite what RSC (and Steam) says the pack is made up of Mk2s and Mk3s. I've not got it but going by screenshots and what the royal train is made up of it is a selection of correct specialised rolling stock. It looks to contain 2 of the Mk2 generator/brake/staff vehicles and 3 variants of the Royal Mk3s which are not standard ones. It looks like they are the Royal Sleeper, The Queens Saloon and the Duke of Edinburgh's Saloon. While I think the sleeper is externally the same as a standard sleeper the two saloons are non-standard in all sorts of external ways like the number, size and spacing of windows and the internal layout is totally different. The Queens Saloon even has double doors at one end rather than the standard single Mk3 door (Pic here).

In sort the reskins of standard Mk3s are great at being reskins of standard Mk3s in claret but the ones in this pack are the correct modified coaches.

If anyone's in the market for a 67, be aware the JT version is on offer at 40% off - 12 of your Jubilee pounds.

Indeed so, its already in my cart and will certainly be my 67 of choice from now on. A quick lesson in business practices here for RSC (as they seem to be in the mood for eduction today), when there's competition, you actually have to be competitive...

In the Assets folder, the cars are listed as 'car2903_hm_queens_lounge' (Mk3), 'car2915_sleeping_car' (Mk3), 'car2917_dining_car' (Mk3), 'car2920_generator_brake' (Mk2) and 'car2921_kitchen_brake' (Mk2)

I'd just like to add here that RSC producing this JUBILEE special has led entirely to me buying the JT67 today! The RSC announcement got me interested in getting the class 67, but after seeing how slap-dash the whole release is (incorrect labelling of the coaches, spelling mistakes on their facebook posts, questionable customer service, all of which smacks of a complete lack of professionalism) and of course with the shrewd discounting by Just trains of their 67 pack, after a bit of research into how much detail there is in the cab of the JT version, there really was no question that i should be getting their 67. For £11.99 it is good value, and of course there is the reassurance of the excellent customer service being displayed in the Voyager thread.

Unfortunately there dont seem to be many (any?) repaints for it on UKTS. Is this version particularly difficult to repaint?

The class 67 JUBILEE release, the clue is in the name Martin, I hope that you are aware of other memorable events taking place in the next few days in Great Britain, if you keep those in mind the
reason for the release is rather obvious.

Our DLC content is constantly being updated and improved and so is the game, for the simple reason that we want to make it better.
I really like this response, good that they take such pride in their product I think :)

It's already on UKTS, Martin, can't check which file at the moment. I'm sure someone posted a link a few pages back.

I'm disgusted by the reply from whoever that was at RSC. That's just common sarcasm and absolutley disgusting. Glad people here are writing back and not just accepting it. Why do I get the feeling whoever wrote it has a problem with accepting critisism, on a rather valid point.
I only bought it for the coaches, even then they are wrong as the normal train is, what, near enough double the length?), and the coaches themselves aren't that great.
Maybe a waste of £4.99, closer to £2.99 me thinks. Shame you can't get a refund, isn't it really. The 67s are just plastered with what I suspect are child objects, the nameplate on 67026 I think it is, whatever one has the new paint job. I'm not bothered if they upgrade the healights and rain affects though on the existing 67s, I just remove the new headlights as they are unrealistic. I've driven a 67 for FGW on the Loco Haul Weymouth trains and you sure as hell can't see the headlights like RSC have got them showing. (Back to topic, my bad!)

(Above is my own opinion, and if you don't like it then tough, it's a free country).

Yeah, it's here Martin - http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... leid=28862

Clive's done a reskin for both the JT and RSC models, he's a lovely fella.

Thanks to Dave and Ole for the coaching stock information.

It does seem an unprofessional way to reply to a customer but as far as I can see we haven't seen the email that got that reply. Perhaps there was something in it that rubbed up the RSC support person the wrong way. No excuse but all humans are fallible and there are always two sides to a story.

This is what I sent them, I may be wrong (it's been known :D ) but I don't think it really warranted the email I got. And they didn't actually answer my question anyway...

I have noticed that several recent products available through STeam have included an updated model of existing content such as the Class 66 and 67 for example. Are there plans to update the previously purchased content to TS2012 standard as several other developers have done (or are in the process of doing so)? Currently it appears that RSC are intent on making people buy add-ons in order to update their content in order to gain the advantages of TS2012, as evidenced (in my opinion) by the release of the Class 67 Jubilee pack which adds very little to the game or the fact that the Settle & Carlisle pack includes TS2012 versions of previous content which has not yet been updated.

I do not think that warrants a "sarccy" reply?

No message from a paying customer should receive that kind of response, even if it did warrant it. You don't talk to a customer like he's thick as two short planks, especially when it's obvious from the way he's written and worded his e-mail that he isn't. If I spoke like that to one of my company's customers I'd imagine I'd be in for a disciplinary pretty sharpish, and I'm not sure I'd get off with just a warning...
