That's good enough for me, just have to wait and see then.

I did as well, they even emailed me back.... :o
Thank you for contacting the Railsimulator.com customer support, your enquiry has been logged with a member of our dedicated customer support team.

The class 67 JUBILEE release, the clue is in the name Martin, I hope that you are aware of other memorable events taking place in the next few days in Great Britain, if you keep those in mind the
reason for the release is rather obvious.

Our DLC content is constantly being updated and improved and so is the game, for the simple reason that we want to make it better.
I just had a similar sort of reply, I do however find the line about the Jubilee and what it represents a tad patronizing, I am fully aware of what the Jubilee is and so is most of the UK, unless they have been hiding under a rock for the past year or so, I suppose I should just be glad I got a reply!

And do you believe that all customers that contact support are UK citizens?

Well I am and I use a UK email address, the clue is in that for them!

What's more to the point is in my reply there still is no definite answer as to whether the original class 67 pack is going to be updated or not.

Do they have a poorly-educated 12-year old on e-mail duty today?? Very badly written and incredibly condescending. I'd reply, thanking them for educating you about the Jubilee celebrations and asking them if that means the closure of your road is just for the day rather than a permanent change to your commuting habits. Make sure you copy in corporate@railsimulator.com and press@railsimulator.com - I'm sure they'll be glad to see what kind of impression the company's giving to the outside world.

And yes, ask them to actually answer your question rather than try to educate you.

I have done as you suggested, be interesting to see what reply I get this time!

Edit: the email to the corporate address bounced, but the other one worked I think.

Done, I wonder what's going to happen this time?

Thank you for your reply, I had no idea that the JUBILEE (all in capitals, so it must be important) would be such a big thing, here I was thinking that the Olympics were the only event of not occuring in the UK this year! Luckily your email has helped me to work out why there are so many Union Flags hanging from people's houses nearby. Perhaps it also explains why much of the country has a four day weekend coming up? It probably even explains why I've been awarded the Queen's JUBILEE Medal. Are there any further events you feel I should be informed about? Perhaps in a patronising manner?

Maybe when you've finished enjoying the long weekend and the JUBILEE celebrations you would be able to provide an answer to my orginal query as to whether the original CLass 67 (and other products) will be getting an update to TS2012 standards to bring them into line with the JUBILEE pack?

I thought I had one, but it turns out it was just a mail telling me the email to the corporate address had failed.

I shudder to think what would happen to my job if I patronised my customer to that extent. Compare and contrast the incredible customer service Just Trains have provided in the last few days on this very forum - and look at the praise they've received because of it.

As for the release itself, no go for me, partly because JT's 67 is so much better.

Nice response

If anyone's in the market for a 67, be aware the JT version is on offer at 40% off - 12 of your Jubilee pounds.

It says on Steam that you obtain some Mk1 and Mk2 coaches, in Royal Claret livery, but, doesn't state what they actually are.

In the freeware reskin pack in the UKTS library you get -

Mk3 Sleeper Cal_Royal, Mk3 First_Royal, Mk3 Restaurant_Royal

So, can someone advise us what the Steam coaches are please, buffet, restaurant, sleeper, etc, etc, I don't want to spend money if they offer the same as Clive's excellent reskins.

Corrected for you.

Almost wish I didn't own JT's 67, just so I could go and buy it at that price :D
