Basically all the clues on the Facebook page were Red Herrings - suggesting one thing or another and all being wrong.

In several cases the answer is in the name, not the context and visa versa:

#1: Vast grasslands/grassy hills - Wyoming is part of the Great Plains
#2: Pile of beans - "Hill" of beans
#3: Cowboy - Wyoming is known as "The Cowboy State"
#4: Thomas Campbell - wrote Gertrude of Wyoming (albeit it was a song about an area in Pennsylvania)
#5: James Mitchell Ashley - reintroduced anti-slavery bill which was pushed through the house by then President Lincoln (Lincoln Hwy parallels Sherman Hill route)
#6: Green dude - Irish rail workers were an important element in building the Transcontinental Railroad
#7: Dinosaur - Fossils/fossil fuels - a large number of fossils were discovered in Wyoming (Fossil Butte National Monument), and Wyoming is an oil-rich state
#8: One Tree Hill - Tree Rock, Wyoming (US Historical Landmark near Sherman Summit)
#9: Doris Day - DD40X

At least, that's how I see them. :D

Cheers
There is an excellent looking Sherman Hill's version for Trainz , set in he 50's.
Its made by the TrainzItalia team , who also made Donner pas ( far more detailed than the RW version ) and other US routes.
It has all the equipment of that time , including turntables big enough for the largest loco's.

I post this as a user of both sims , and i am sure i am not the only one.
