The update has changed my copy of PDL so much that i have just bought the 455!! I didn't see much point before because the route performed almost like a slide show, so i didn't bother with it! Thanks to pointer in the right direction, i finally got the tracks swapped out for the EandG ones, i even got cocky and changed the tunnel tracks too!! 8) Ha ha ha.

Cheers

I am sure many of us would be incredibly grateful (if it's as easy as sharing that file, of course). I spent about half an hour on it yesterday but was befuddled by all the different track names, alas.
Anyone? For those of us really struggling with Mike Simpson's guide and not being to identify which tracks should be switched for which? Please? Pretty please? Cherries? Hundreds and thousands? Puppy dogs? Kittens? :D

Thanks for the heads up JB, looks much better. :P

Now what about those fence posts, embankment lofts and the 450 brakes, RSC? :-?

Some time ago I was asking about "stripey" cobbled roads (ie every other stretch laid was in shadow) and, to solve this, Derek kindly said that all that needed to happen was that the original files needed to be re-exported (I think that is the right word) again by the creator. In the end this was done and everything now works fine. I wonder then if it is just the same for the embankmnet lofts because, like with the cobbles, they just seem to have different shadows that give the stripey effect?

Sorting the missing fence posts would be good too mind as, visually, it is depressing seing this error more or less everywhere you drive :(

David

I believe they are both shader issues and need the original files to be re-exported correctly to fix it, which means it's down to RSC. And like you say, since it's visible along the length of the route, you would have thought it would have been fixed

Hi all,

The date showing against the "summer.bin" file is 12/05/2012, would that be right?

Is there any chance in an RWP file to help install these lovely tracks? Pretty please with icing on top?

Hi all,

Just tried to run the scenario;-

"Hightail to the harbour"

It looks as if the Cab window has cracked from the top right of the window radiating out towards the middle of the Cab window in a fan patern.
Has anyone experienced this?

Kind regards

I have started running this on mine and the cabview is fine in both TSX and legacy mode.
Sounds like that's where the raindrops should be appearing, i.e. from RH top at about 45 degrees over the window.
