You could just clone the scenarios you have edited from within the Railworks menu. They wont be touched then.

Has anyone with this problem tried swapping the weather to a variation from the E&G route or the GARL route in a scenario. For all those legacy users, it appears to fix the problem.

True enough. But then it doesn't look tidy :-) haha.

Got an email off RSC who say they are aware of this problem and quote;

I think news always gets through to RSC if you have an issue. It will get fixed. We are all testers in one way or another. They will get it sorted for us. ;)

Can't say I noticed any difference from default + SE.

I had issues with reskins for AP scenarios. I resolved them by downloading the extra stock from APs site and reinstalling them.

Thanks for this, it appears to have fixed my 4cig problems? Didn't even give it a thought since the scenario I was trying to run was from RSC! But still the 4cig was unusable? All working now though, ta.

Try searching the tracks.bin file for oxfo_padd_track02o and changing it to one of the E-G track types

The weird artefacts in your fourth picture are probably caused by two incompatible track types being blended together
Hi all.

I tried this suggestion (thanks to FoggyMorning) and changed oxfo_padd_track02o to tm_concrete_track01, same as i did with oxfo_padd_track01 and 02.bin, but now i am getting this happening, and there is still some of the default track present.

I now officially have no clue as to what is going on! I think it maybe time to revert back to the default tracks, as this is turning out to be more trouble than it is worth, for me at least :cry: .

You haven't changed all of the tracks in the route to EG. Search the tracks.bin for oxfo_padd_track and make a note of the different paths. Then covert each one in succession to EG track.

Hi All,

The fix for the "whiteout" problem has been issued :) Updated file is Assets\RSC\GuildfordDistrict\TimeOfDay\summer.bin

Cheers,

Might it be easier to give a step-by-step guide with pictures showing how to change track types in routes? I've tried changing them using the tutorial on Mike Simpson's site however it doesn't seem to work as my tracks haven't changed. Also it could be made a sticky for future reference.
