Hi Chris
Thanks for replying
i`ve just tried the link again, this brings up sky drive page, i sign in and it takes me to my

Re: North Lindsey Light Railway
John,
I haven't looked at my posts all day. Anyway, glad you managed to download it eventually. I was puzzled by you saying you had to sign in. I clicked on the link to the sky drive, double clicked on NLLR and it downloaded immediately, no problems. Right, next job it to use RWTools to sub the default stock in the scenarios and I must contact the author, and say a big thank you. I'll do that tomorrow first thing,
Regards, John

You can also use Ike's 9F and D11 - I think both types were allocated to Immingham at one time or another.emrhd01 wrote:I couldn't agree more, substitited the Default 7F's and some of the Black 5's used in the many Scenarios that come with this beautiful Route, for GC ROD's, WD Austerity's, V2's, etc. (also swopped the Default Mk1's for DT ones) and really enjoying driving this little Gem. Highly recommend that you have a look at it, shame it is not in the UKTS Library.
I'm intrigued to know where to get a WD Austerity?
John
Re: North Lindsey Light Railway
You should also be able to get it on the UKTS library as well.

Hi for WD try
if that's what you are thinking of - otherwise if you mean the 0 6 0 austerity that would probably be one of the meshtools locos - see ESR & the new colliery route.
edit sorry Wd gone

Re: North Lindsey Light Railway
The Austerity 2-8-0 used to be in the UKTS Library, but Mike (ike) withdrew it to improve/upgrade it, but unfortunately he experienced a problem when trying to re-upload the new Austerity to the UKTS Library. It was rejected (with no reasons given), so he took the decision, sadly, to keep it for his own personal use only.I'm intrigued to know where to get a WD Austerity?
I was very fortunate to talk with him a while ago (via e-mail) and he very kindly shared some pictures of some of the other Loco's he has built for his own use, these included a Stanier Princess Royal 4-6-0, a Gresley K1 2-6-0 and the Midland Compound 1000 4-4-0.
I was blown away with what he has achieved and can only say I wish he would re-consider and upload them to the UKTS Library, they look absolutely excellent.
His 'spare' time is his own and I can (as I'm sure you all can) appreciate that he does not want the hassle (or the problems) that goes with sharing his models and then take up more of his valuable spare time and I trust that everyone will abide by this decision that he has taken.

Re: North Lindsey Light Railway
I wrote to Mike Round a few months ago and asked him if the WD 8F was available. He very kindly sent it to me via my hotmail account and the loco works perfectly. I'm using it in a number of scenarios. All I can suggest is that you follow the same course of action.
Later today I will list the available locos allocated to the sheds in the area. I did for myself but I've lost the list,
Regards, John.

Re: North Lindsey Light Railway
Available locos include: ER D11, 04 & J94 (soon). LMR 2P, 4F, 5MT & 8F. BR Stds 7MT, WD 8F & 9F.
Of course if you have a few other locos hidden away like A5, B1, J11, K1, O2 etc you could use them!

As I believe there is a commercial WD in development (although I don't know how long the wait will be), I won't bother Mike this time. It is a great shame that circumstances have put him off from sharing his work as those I do have are absolutely excellent pieces of work. They do much to improve the environment on the NLLR add-on as well as Woodhead and many others.

Hi John
I could`nt understand why i had to sign in either as i did`nt have to when i
downloaded the 3d version, i suppose it`s one of those computor things that
happen now and again, anyway it`s working great, had a fly round Immingham docks
to check out what has been added to the route, very impressed, reallly like it.
Please add my thanks to yours when you contact the route builder.
I was lucky enough to dowmload ike`s ( mike ) loco`s and they are a very nice addition to RW,
and will right at home with this route.
Thanks again to the builder.

Re: North Lindsey Light Railway
Going back to Mike's excellent D11 & O4, there was a screenshot posted and a question asked if the gloss could be taken off the loco to give a matt finish. This is the thread, not tried it yet but I will one day: http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 2&t=109040
We could do with a few more ex-LNER loco's,
