Thanks to everyone who contributed to this, downloading it now - looks like I have the requirements for all 25 scenarios so that should keep me busy for a while! I had started a scenario for the pack myself but never got round to finishing it for various reasons, will the pack be open to future additions like the other UKTS packs?

Arggh. Don't have either the 156 or RSC 67. :(

I guess I'll have to wait for a sale on Steam!

Quite a few of the scenarios don't need that stock. If you look at the readme it should tell you, or after you install it. It will tell you on the Briefing/ Description of the Scenario.

Rising Storm -Name is in the credits :D - To Do scenario, where you go along at 50mph in a Pendo? Who would play it?

Glad to have been able to contribute! Will check out the pack when I get home.

EDIT:
Nobkins may have added it to the readme and/or scenario description, but still... The wayward buffers encountered in the 'Turning an HST' scenario, can be safefly ran through without consequences. Also, in this scenario, even if you chose to switch ends when returning to Glasgow Central, you still have to Shift+TAB to get past the red signal on the approach to GC.

The reason I joined this site.

Good quality free addons.

Spent way to much on commercial software, but I do have all these. :)

Haha very fair then really, Be pacient for a steam sale. You will enjoy the rest of them when you are able to though.

Just had a look through the manual, looks excellent - definitely varied, with just the right amount of passenger scenarios.

Shame I lack money. I still need to buy Class 67, 158, Pendolino, WCML...

What scenario pack is next? haha.

Hope you enjoy them Kevin. Just got some interesting info for people...
25 scenarios
4 extra cloned scenarios
Approx. 1,425 minutes or 23hours 45 minutes of driving time.

Definitely plenty to keep you busy :D

Chris is spot on. Each scenario lists the DLC / Freeware Packs required to play it. A few scenarios use only default and freeware pack rolling stock so even if all you have is WCML-N you can still get something out of the pack.

Not sure as yet. If an update is needed to fix any problems then yes I see no issue with adding additional scenarios at that point.

There is certainly no reason why we can't do this again and make a WCML North Scenario Pack #2. However, I think other routes might get a pack before we re-visit WCML North.

Certainly a possibility that the Woodhead route could be next in line for a scenario pack. However, I don't have that route which makes it harder for me to make the pack. Also I quite like the idea of doing a scenario pack for a Freeware Route and I was thinking about CKPR by Ben Yates. Rumour has it that CKPR is going to be converted to a Freeware Pack installer (not that I could possibly comment on such a thing ;) ). If that were to happen then it would be nice to (with Ben's permission of course) release a scenario pack for it a month or two later.

Lots of ideas, who knows what will be next. Keep the suggestions coming though. This pack came from an idea by Derek (1S811985) :D.

It will be a couple of months before I look into this properly as the TPR Team is pestering me to get the Mayflower Line checked, finished, packaged and released. Don't want to keep my trusty TPR detailers waiting ;)

CKPR is a superb route and I, for one, would love to see a freeware scenario pack produced for it, and would try and contribute a couple of scenarios myself. Now if someone could produce an ex-LNWR 18" Goods (Cauliflower) which were a mainstay on the line until the early 50s!!!

Similarly, I would like to see a scenario pack for Woodhead. The route has only been out a short time and some very interesting freeware scenarios have been released already. With the vast amount of trackwork in the route and the challenging gradients, it has enormous potential for passenger, freight and shunting scenarios. I have produced one scenario already that with minimal extra work would be available to contribute to a pack. There is limited freeware stock that would be suitable and historically accurate to run on the line, but if the payware EM2 - Class 77 (which I have yet to purchase, but is almost an essential for this route) and Gordon Mackenzie's superb LMS period 3 coaches, available from Making Tracks, were permitted payware for scenarios, that would make a big difference.

Having had a small involvement in the WCML-N scenario pack, I know just how much work and effort Jim has had to put in to organise and coordinate the offerings, get them tested, produce the manual and make the whole thing a reality, and for that I am very grateful. Perhaps there are other people with Jim's knowledge and abilties who would be willing to help pull together some more scenario packs?

Regards

Mervyn
