Thanks Bill,

Will forward that on to the guys.
I also see that on Woodhead too (just checked).

I don't see that on my current route at moment tho, more investigating to be done.

regards

Derek

hi, ...

Somewhere there has to be yes if you want to cost the game faster.
Since the charging priorities of the assets for the RAM memory registers are just changed.

Don't know if it's related to the update or is GARL specific, but it appears "decals" are floating above the terrain height (just lowered a load of them around Glasgow Airport).

It is possible that the decals are right and the terrain is not. I had this on one of my routes where the decals were following invisible hills but the assets were sitting lower down on flat terrain. Exiting the route and running again fixed this. Perhaps something to do with Blueprint Cache Data :-?

Got a rather quick personal response from RSC after e-mailing them about this, good to see it's being worked on :)

The rewriting of the lofts takes a while though and this is not a particularly asset dense area. It's not the end of the world of course but it is a minor annoyance considering the speed at which this worked before.

Perhaps it is somehow related to AA then. It is a somewhat slower process for me with V11 but it is taking no where near as long as your video shows. I have the AA slider at the extreme left

I'm surprised nobody has linked this line of conversation to the new weld-checking countdown thing that appears when you're laying track.

Surely there's some kind of relationship?

Cheers

I don't think that is new, though again it seem to be taking a bit longer to run down

So is anybody seeing an increase in stuttering whilst driving? Definitely been a change in framerates too, before this update i was getting a good 50 fps on Hamburg Bremen, now its down to 20 and below! Please can I have the other update made available as a seperate downloadable "fix", I was getting good results.

Just perhaps. I tried that on the same section doing the same task and it took 8 seconds to redraw everything as opposed to the ~18 from the FXAA setting.

One thing I too have noticed is a small (around 10) reduction in frame rates, on woodhead, but B & E run fine now at over 40FPS??

My apologies for the red herring then. I only noticed it for the first time over the last few days.

Cheers

Perhaps a temporary fix would be to have the Countdown theme play just as the last few lofts finish loading.
